Characters you wish you saw more of

Discussion, generally of an in-universe nature, regarding any aspect of the franchise (including movies, spin-offs, etc.) such as: techniques, character relationships, internal back-history, its universe, and more.

And I also wanted to see more of Lunch, and Bra. Especially Bra, she's Vegeta's daughter for God's sake. :?
I agree, Lunch and Bra deserved more screen time, Lunch in Dragon Ball Z, and Bra in Dragon Ball GT.
MORE OF VEGETAS NON-TRUNKS OFFSPRING! Also Umigame that turtle rules.

Tien. He's my absolute favourite character in the series. While he has plenty of screentime in DragonBall, and some memorable moments in Z, he's still really neglected in Z overall (and GT, but heck, I don't really like GT anyway...). I like his character/personality, but also, he has lots of cool techniques too.

And also, Bardock, Pilaf, Shu, Mai, and Launch.
Bardock, I just really liked his TV special.
Pilaf, Shu, and Mai, I'll always remember as the first major DragonBall villains I saw, and they're always good for a laugh.
Launch...I dunno...I just miss characters from DragonBall that don't show up much in Z.

It's a close-up of the title page for chapter 271 (Viz 177) which was censored in the Viz version. That image is probably a Kanzenban scan. :)

As for characters I'd like to see more of...

For obvious reasons: Yajirobe, "Qui", Chi-Chi, #8, Suno, Dabra, Lunch, Kame-Sen'nin and...

Gregory.

Tenshinhan, Yamucha, Lunch, Kame-sennin(later in the series), and basically most of the main characters from DB who disappear later in the series.

Tenshinhan, Tao Pai Pai, Dabura.

I know we did see him quite a lot but I loved Kamesennin's pervert scenes, it would be cool to see more of them, they were hilarious.

And I really liked Zarbon but I think he got just enough time, he whooped people's asses proving he was bad ass.

But yeah, mainy Ten, his first fight agaisnt Goku at the budokai is probably my second favourite fight.

Well he does get a bit of non-canonical backstory in the Sandland manga.
I see what you mean, wannyman. I guess I'd have to go with my favorite non-saiyan character besides Piccolo and that would of course be Tenshinhan. We all know he is a bit of a wanderer(sp) but I would like to know more about his adventures and such.(Insert homo-erotic Chaozu Joke here  ) Ten is simply the man, or the other man after Piccolo.

I missed out on all of the DB Movie fun, huh?
Point blank: it's gonna suck if you want it to. Personally, I'm seeing it as a comedy.

I would've liked to see Chi-Chi with her pre-Z personality. XD

And well, I'll join the camp that finds that Kuririn, Yamucha and Tenshinhan needed much more screentime. Heck, even in DB itself I would've really liked it if Yamucha once, just once got past the first round. >.>;; Poor sap.

Oh and Lunch, such a pity about Lunch. It would've been nothing short of hilarious if at the end of the Buu Saga Lunch walked up to kid Buu and smited him senseless. (Battle Potential/Power Levels be damned)

Hehe, well...If we're counting all, what about his fight with Kami? lol.

Nope, I didn't make it. Toriyama drew it, it's part of a poster or cover for the Cell saga. It shows all the major players in that saga. It just so happens that Tenshinhan is giving the bird to Cell.

EDIT
Just noticed someone posted it's origins.

I would have liked to have seen more of Tien in DBZ and DBGT. I sure do love that Crane style of his.

I also would've liked to see Karin more too. It would've been cool to have seen him fight in DBZ. I know that little cat is powerful! It just seemed like he was being used for his senzu beans in DBZ. What a shame.

No, not really. Kid Goku surpassed Karin before he drank the Super Holy Water.

I vote for 'Nail'. I found him to be an intensly interesting character who wasn't as fleshed out as he could have been. Yajirobe comes in second, if only because he appeared so much yet did so little.
I'm going to put the debates to a rest- Broli is not the Legendary Super Saiyan. Goku is not the Legendary Super Saiyan. I'm the Legendary Super Saiyan. And while I'm at it, I'm Batman too.

Yajirobe and Nail got potential. As it seemed, Yajirobe got self-trained, and Nail was MUCH stronger than an average Namek-jin. If Yajirobe wasn't that sceptical to everything, he would have gotten stronger, and learn how to use ki. Nail, even though having not a real strong enemy, managed to get almost as strong as a Ginyu Force member, maybe stronger. Think what would happen if he got to train with the Z-senshi. I say WOW.

Raditz! I mean what the hell... Goku forgives and allies himself with many of his former enemies but he never got a chance to with his own brother? That kind of irked me as I like Raditz. He was hard to beat but then he is simply dead forever. I know if Toryiama wanted to he could have brought him back or at the least allowed Goku and Raditz to meet again in the otherworld. Well cest le vie...

P.S.

I agree, I would have liked to see a little more of Raditz.

He didn't get his chance to shine. Perhaps they could have had him cause some trouble before he went out to find Goku, maybe then Goku would have went to find him instead.

This way they could have made it last longer then rather then just a few episodes.

I would like to see more of Radditz too, as I think that being a son of Bardock, just like Goku, he could have a lot of potential. I believe that he didn't get a chance to get stronger.

[pretty much off topic]
I think that it would be cool like if Goku found out about the Freeza threat to the saiyans and about what he had done by Raditz as an example, and decided to join Raditz, and train with him, and when Vegeta and Nappa came, Raditz would have talked with Nappa and Vegeta, making them join in too, so that they together would defeat Freezer. Goku would have learned the saiyan "secret" (zenkai) and together four saiyans would train and surpass their limits, maybe train at King Kai (by advice of Kami) and then train in gravity rooms built by Bulma and her father. Then they take the namekian space ship together, train in there and then go and challenge Freezer. But that's just a dream... =). [/pretty much off topic]

I've read one so similiar to that it'd make your brain fry. It included a survived Bardock in the mix, though, and mainly centered around Vegeta, who ended up going SSj on Freeza's ass.

It actually wasn't that bad.
