Just got: Dragon Ball Z Gaiden - Saiya Jin Zetsumetsu Keikak

Post by MysticGogeta » Mon Sep 18, 2006 10:20 pm

Well Dragon Ball Z Gaiden - Saiya Jin Zetsumetsu Keikaku is the game that spawned the famous "OVA" Dragon Ball Z: Plan to Eradicate the Saiyans, or whatever you want to call it. So far I just got the game and well I have the ol' fan-sub of the "OVA", which is basically the video walkthrough of the game, so I am planning on starting up a new game maybe this weekend on my imported Famicom system.

I wonder how the video walkthrough looks in the Dragonbox Movie DVD set.

It has famicom footage of the map screens in between the parts when they travel from location to location. The credits are with the famicom footage too.

Oh yeah, the quality is really nice. Not as good as the episodes, but much better than any fansub that's out there. :)

I have played and finished that game, and I can tell you that not all is like in the 'OAV'.
But it's a very fun game, and your final enemy will be none other than Dr. Raichi (only ki blasts will hurt him).
Have fun!

 I was hoping for it to be like the visual walkthrough. But thanks for the boss tips. I started my game the other day I have to say it's quite fun.

There are multiple paths and endings... as seen right in the "Visual Guide" footage.

Even in the Nes game?
It all looked very 'one way' path to me...as far as the playdia game is concerned, I already have played and finished it and yes, in that one there are lots of endings possible.

Hatchhyack is in the Famicom game. So if you didn't get to fight him, I guess that means there's at least another ending.

Are you sure about that...?
I just ask you this because, it REALLY looked like he wasn't even aknowledged to exist in the NES game Universe...

I have to beat Dr. Raichi without using any items...that way I can face Hatchhyack.
Boy, this is going to be tough! :x
