I am aware that despite the recent cancellation of Saban's Vortexx block on theCW network, the edited episodes are still available On Demand via Kabillion. I just wanted to know a couple of additional details about it.
1. Do any of the cable/satellite providers that offer Kabillion broadcast the VOD in HD?
2. Kabillion recently signed a deal with VHX to offer digital downloads for purchase to rival iTunes. Does anyone know if Saban programming such as DBK, Sonic X, and Yu-Gi-Oh! are coming with in the near future.
My questions may be redundant, but I'd just like to be sure I'm on top of this subject.

Was the hate for Kai largely unjustified?
Super Saiyan Prime wrote:It's an edited, cynically produced, cheap recut with a poorly utilized ancient score and awful scene recreations that later got traded in for a weird green tint.
The story of Kai's production is far more interesting than the actual product.

Re: Dragon Ball Kai 4Kids/Saban version on Kabillion
I was actually checking out Kabillion's selection of stuff on Comcast On Demand a few days back and I didn't see Kai on there. I do remember seeing a dedicated Kai section with some episodes around Father's Day, but it looks like they've taken the episodes down since then (unless I missed them, of course). Maybe they're preparing to put it on Adult Swim's On Demand section once Toonami starts airing the show. That was just on Comcast, though; I don't know if this applies to other providers. I'll try to remember to double check the Kabillion section when I have a chance, but I can only go On Demand at my parents' house and I won't be there for an extended period of time until tomorrow; by then I'll probably forget. I apologize if I do. If someone else with Comcast On Demand could check for me, that would be great.

Kai was removed from Kabillion at the end of September. I don't think it has to do with Toonami though. I think it's more because the Kabillion deal was a sub-contract of Saban's airing rights for Vortexx, and with Vortexx becoming defunct, the airing rights to Kai went with them and Kabillion lost the show as well.OmegaRockman wrote:I was actually checking out Kabillion's selection of stuff on Comcast On Demand a few days back and I didn't see Kai on there. That actually makes a lot of sense. I can't believe the thought didn't occur to me, haha. Thanks for clarifying!Son Goku wrote:Kai was removed from Kabillion at the end of September.
