I remember that one. lol That was used in a Dragon Box remaster someone did back in 2010/2011 using the audio from my 2008 CN recording (bad quality).
I also ripped the Dale Kelly eyecatch too, which was from a DVD recording a friend of mine up north gave me, originally for the Ocean Dub eyecatches. This was before the Rock the Dragon set came out.

I know. Arian wasn't sure in their opening post whether or not it aired on TV3 in Ireland as well as New Zealand. I was just clarifying that it didn't and therefore the eyecatch must be unique to TV3 in New Zealand. TV3 in Ireland and New Zealand are completely unrelated as far as I'm aware.

Sorry to bump a relatively old topic, but was there ever a Buu Saga equivalent for this? What I mean is, did Kyle Hebert do a similar thing for the Satan Car 666 eyecatch that appeared in later sagas?

From the information I managed to gather, no. For the Buu Saga portion and perhaps even before that, TV3 would just fade in and out of the program most likely using standard network eyecatches.
Was the hate for Kai largely unjustified?

Actually, they kept the eye catches for the entire series. Both versions had the same music from the Frieza saga.

The eyecatch music, yes. They still had their own eye catches for those specific sagas though.
