I really don't see the big deal about the preordering. I do it all the time.

Money really isn't a issue if you have enough to buy the game to begin with. Where I'm from if you use $5 to preorder, that goes towards your purchase. You don't pay the full 60 dollars or whatever it is, you'd only pay 55

You still end up paying full price for it despite that you give in the $5 much earlier while the rest's due on its release date.

Seems like there's no news/updates today about XV. But Smash 4 for Wii U has been changed from Dec 5 to Nov 28! Can't wait!

Well yeah, you're paying at full price despite giving money in earlier, but the reason you're pre-ordering in the first place is to ensure your copy AND to get the pre-ordering content. So what's the concern? You put $5 in before the release and you get exclusive content. Even if you don't have the money to buy the game immediately, you can still pre-order it and they'll still hold your copy with the exclusive content until you have the money to pay it in full. To me, it just looks like the only people who will be missing out on the bonus content like SSJ4 Vegeta, don't care enough about the game franchise to put a measly $5 in early or buy the game at full price. But I guess if you've been disappointed with every release up until now, then who can blame you?

I'm definitely planning on pre-ordering it from Amazon UK (I'm in UK) but so far the price they have for PS4 is too high and this way I definitely am guaranteed to be getting the Metalcase + DLC (it's Amazon!).

I've got Raging Blast 1's Steelbook which looks really cool and now this will be quite a collectible too.

The thing I take issue with about pre-order bonuses is that they encourage blindly committing to a game without any guarantee of quality.

Retailer specific bonus content is even more sinister.

Well, this is some bullshit I've never pre-order and I don't quite trust GameStop UK (or any of their branches) but maybe they might not be that bad, and if they only charge me at the point of dispatch then it might be okay.

Gonna give GameStop UK a try but really would prefer Amazon UK.

If the Steelbook's limited to an X quantity it's better to pre-order now even if you were to cancel afterwards.

That was for the U.S. people specifically, considering we get nothing but the Pre-order bonuses. No steelbook case, figure...

I don't have enough bread for that anyway, I'm getting the plain ass PS3 version.

Well the steel box version isn't something I would waste my money on. Although it is way too early for anyone to preorder. LOL

PS4 and Xbox are region free so if Americans wanted to import the European version that contains the steelbook they could but since there's no way of telling when they reach the X limit of steelbook pre-orders then it's safe to assume they'll last for a while.

If we take Bayonetta 2: First Print Edition for exanoke which had supposedly a limited run of 15,300 copies they all ran out of stock during the pre-ordering time and then later there were (and still are) resellers charging double or triple the amount it originally cost.
