I have to say, I'm a bit disappointed at that. I was hoping to have each race play a different role in the story, like Froze working with Frieza or the created humans help the other humans fight the Ginyu force at the other world, or etc. But, oh well. I just hope the mode is worthwhile and has a lot of replay value.

Guys I just saw an interview with this games creator and from his words it seems that our Saiyan CaC can go up to SS3. Then he goes to say he would have like to add SS4 transformation but you would need to go Great Ape. We already have confirm both SS4 Goku and Vegeta so why would he talk about the requirements for SS4?

does he mean Goku or our CaC's too? Either way it's awesome, cause we can have all three levels and not just stick to one transformation. It's wasn't in beta, it's not in demo, but we'll be able to go ss1, ss2 and ss3 mid battle, it being finaly confirmed hypes me up even if it will be only for Goku in the end(Vegeta also has 3 transformations ss1, super Vegeta and ss2, same with Cell - semi-perfect, perfect and super perfect, which means he might be 1 character and not 3-4 separate characters like some people think).

Well Vegeta's move was called Super Vegeta 2 in the data, so that's his SS2, I'm guessing. So that may be not be the solution to the 3 forms thing.

Change the country header to Germany (Deutschland) and you'll get that exact image. They're going with country specific retailers. Click on Spain and you'll see Fnac and Xtralife, for example.

Ok I'm trying to clarify a few things for myself.. someone current me if I'm wrong.

U.S Version

Physical game
No Special edition case and statue
Same pre-order bonuses.

Jp Version

Physical game
No special edition
Same Pre-order bonuses

UK Version

No physical copy of the standard edition.
Only one with Special edition case and statue.
Same Pre-order bonuses.

Did I miss anything? I just needed some clarity as a lot has been thrown all over the place since I last kept full tabs on this thread.

I'm pretty sure there are technically 3 UK editions, as the metal case was said to be a pre-order bonus too. So on release day, you should have:

1. Trunks Limited Editions from pre-order with the case, the figure, the bonuses, etc.

2, The regular pre-order edition with the case and bonuses.

3.The regular edition with the normal plastic case and no bonuses, for those who didn't pre-order.

The other places just have the normal game and the bonuses if you pre-order?

Oh so that's why but I thought UK would've have the Steelbook already available for pre-order. I wonder why they still don't have it for the UK customers.



C'mon Bandai make the Steelbook available to pre-order from Amazon UK I'd rather go with a retailer I trust and use for years than GameStop.

Not even astounded much of that. Since Raging Blast (Vegeta and Broly SS3) and especially since Heroes and it's absurd direction for some Characters and their Evolution, i'd rather be disappointed if my own Saiyan Warrior would have a lower Limit here. Let's be honest, it would be pretty outdated for the overall Premise of that Game. Maybe just not from the Beginning on already but other than that...

On the subject of SSJ, I feel like they'll take the lazy way out and just give the OCs a blonde version of their base hair for the transformation. I'd be freakin ecstatic if I gave my character the #17-ish hair style and when transformed it looked like long haired SSJ Future Trunks or like Broly's.. Its the little stuff that counts. Because if Going up to SSJ3 is true, how are they going to pull that off with the Mohawk?lol

Yes but you forgot something: He also mentions SS4 as a possible transformation but it would need the Great Ape. That should have told you that he was talking about the Saiyan CaC's. Like I said before Super Saiyan 3 CaC's are confirmed. Do you really think Dimps is dumb enough not to notice that WE know they made Dragon Ball Heroes? Plus with that crossover event that is happening in March they got to not only create a SS4 Avatars both males and females but have to start a Heroes crossover DLC for Xenoverse. Unless they want to lose the DB fighting game contract they will put SS3 for our Saiyan CaC's.

Dude he says and quote in the interview: "Can you pass level 1-3 during combat, but not to level 4 because in the original story itself could not do it without having become a Ozaru " The story he was talking about was GT where both Goku and Vegeta became Great Apes in order to go SS4. But we know that SS4 is a base character in this game. Since the pre-order bonus say "Super Saiyan 4 Vegeta as a CHARACTER" meaning base(start fight in that form). So why would the creator of this game mentions the Great Ape at all since we already have two SS4's as playable characters? At first you might think when he says pass level 1-3 you might think "3 levels of power boost for all" but then he mentions that you can't go Level 4 with out GREAT APE or as he said OZARU. That alone should tell you he was only talking about those with cosmetic change power boosts aka the different Super Saiyan levels. I hope that clears your doubt TDC.

It may be confusing but the fact he EVEN mentions the Great Ape transformation when we know that there is no GT Kid Goku and GT Vegeta due to them already have playable SS4 forms. But trust me with SS3 being a learnable skill in this game it is so obvious that the Saiyan CaC are going to get it. Trust me a lot of fans complain the lack of depth when it comes to the SS transformation in UT. I know Dimps is not going to make the same mistake. Super Saiyan 3 CaC skill is confirmed for our male and female saiyan CaC's.
