I wonder if they make any EoB reference in this. The forums will explode if that happens.
And I bet Freeza will be the one with a new form this time. For the Saiyans, I predict God Goku & God Vegeta as a tag team defeating Freeza.

Beerus is sleeping all the time, except for when he has to work, so no way he is training him. But Whis may be training him to get stronger so that he can have a better fight with Beerus again.sintzu wrote:Why though ? James Teal (Animerica 1996) wrote:When you think about it, there are a number of similarities between the Chinese-inspired Son Goku and that most American of superhero icons, Superman. Both are aliens sent to Earth shortly after birth to escape the destruction of their homeworlds; both possess super-strength, flight, super-speed, heightened senses and the ability to cast energy blasts. But the crucial difference between them lies not only in how they view the world, but in how the world views them.
Superman is, and always has been, a symbol for truth, justice, and upstanding moral fortitude–a role model and leader as much as a fighter. The more down-to-earth Goku has no illusions about being responsible for maintaining social order, or for setting some kind of moral example for the entire world. Goku is simply a martial artist who’s devoted his life toward perfecting his fighting skills and other abilities. Though never shy about risking his life to save either one person or the entire world, he just doesn’t believe that the balance of the world rests in any way on his shoulders, and he has no need to shape any part of it in his image. Goku is an idealist, and believes that there is some good in everyone, but he is unconcerned with the big picture of the world…unless it has to do with some kind of fight. Politics, society, law and order don’t have much bearing on his life, but he’s a man who knows right from wrong.

Re: Official On-Going DBZ 2015 Movie Thread
You know what, despite split-second initial misgivings, I am 90 percent behind Freeza coming back.
1. He is hands-down the best villain in the series, with the biggest grudge with the Saiyans. He destroyed their home world, giving Goku and especially Vegeta a deeply rooted personal reason to not like him.
2. I'm interested (and slightly skeptical) concerning how Toriyama will put him on SSG Goku's level, Maybe he finds a way to tap into God Ki too? Will he finally get his wish for immortality, since the Earth Dragon Balls can grant two wishes (one to revive him, another for immortality)?
3. Ryūsei Nakao and Christopher Ayres are two of the most talented voice actors in the series. I can't wait to hear them reprise their roles.
4. It gives Vegeta a chance for a rematch. Who knows, maybe he'll actually be the one to save the day this time around?
5. I love the designs for Freeza's henchman, plus it makes sense for remnants of his army to want their boss back.

It all makes sense given that Freeza was apparently still alive in Neko Majin and Vegeta worked for him, plus he had a son.
Obviously Freeza will be the main villain, but Vegeta will convince him to become a good guy and Freeza then employs Vegeta to rebuild distant worlds and what not.

Re: Official On-Going DBZ 2015 Movie Thread
There is pretty much nothing I like about this poster.
-Everyone is the wrong age/wearing the wrong outfit for a sequel minus Gohan. Goddamn do I hate Vegeta's formal wear.
-"Remnants of Freeza's army"; they will be using this excuse/plot device forever.
-Reviving Freeza gives an unwarranted air of importance to the character, which I am a little tired of. It feels ordained in a series where nothing is supposed to be ordained.
Nothing is stopping it from being a fun movie, but this is sort of a kick in the knees and a warning that the people in charge don't have the interest to actually push Dragon Ball forward, and are content with its status as that "evergreen" series that can be dusted off and spit-shined ever-so-slightly and sell millions.

This sounds absolutely terrible. There's literally no reason to bring back an irrelevant villain at this point. A villain that's nowhere close to any important character in power. And giving him a plot power-up just makes it even worse. Hell even if he does become as strong as Goku or stronger there's still Beerus and Whis who would wreck his shit. Uh this just sounds atrocious.
Re: Official On-Going DBZ 2015 Movie Thread
Dude in green is Gohan, that's for sure. He doesn't have scars on his face, hence he cannot be Yamcha.
EDIT: BTW, Gohan looks ridiculous with this new garment and hair

Look closely and you'll see how Vegeta's armor is different than the one from the Android arc. Anyway, he didn't wear it in the Buu arc because of Tenkaichi Budokai's rules. What's wrong with him wearing it again?B wrote:-Everyone is the wrong age/wearing the wrong outfit for a sequel minus Gohan. Goddamn do I hate Vegeta's formal wear.

I don't think it's Gohan. I think it's Goten who just had a growspurt, because I don't see ''Ultimate'' Gohan's eyes. I mean Goten should then be like 13-14 years old here. Hell, even I had the body of a full grown man at the age of 14, so it's possible that its Goten.

This would be a nice turn of events. No matter how strong you are, you can't kill something imortal. Frieze could at least destroy some stuff, just not the fighters. Or maybe this would be a wishing-for-immortality-equals-unreal-power-up asspull.ParkerAL wrote:Will he finally get his wish for immortality, since the Earth Dragon Balls can grant two wishes (one to revive him, another for immortality)?

What a lot of you for some reason don't see is Frieza being the perfect villain for Vegeta.
