Reath of Dill... oops, I mean Death of Rilldo

Post by The S » Tue Apr 06, 2004 12:44 am

Well, I've been watching both the Japanese and American versions of GT over and over, and I can't figure out how or when Goku killed Rilldo. Many sites proclaim Goku indeed killed him, but they don't explain any further. Some help would be appreciated.
Battle High 2, starring Kyle Hebert as well as myself, has been released on Xbox 360, OUYA, PC, Linux, Mac, and Xbox One!

I'm completly with you on this one. I had read somewhere that Goku eventually killed General Rild, but this never actually happens. After the spaceship was turned back to normal they left planet M2 without even seeing him again.

It seems more likely to me that it was Baby who killed Rild, by destroying planet M2. That's not actually shown either, but at the end of episode 22 Baby says he wouldn't allow the Saiyans to escape alive. He probably destroyed M2 just after they left, and with M2 gone Rild would die.

Goku, Pan, and Trunks all do a triple team ki blast to Rild when leaving the planet while he's pulling down their ship. His entire lower body is missing after the move and his eyes are pupil-less, usually a sign that someone is dead.

He was taken over by Baby at this point of course, but he was still alive up til that blast.

The episode in which the scene in question occurs is "Hidden Crisis!? The Shipwreck and the Mysterious Young Boy"

Yeah, as far as I know, it was a combination of the triple ki blast and Bebi removing himself from Rilldo's body that killed him.

I remember them doing that blast, but I don't remember them doing it to Rilldo... Must rewatch ep.

I just watched the episode today, so I'm sure it was him, even if I hadn't though I remember the scene pretty well just cause of the aftermath.

I have to ask though, who did you think it was that took the blast?

I'm pretty sure Bebi does pop right out of Rilldo's body after the Z gang leaves the planet.
