Goku with a Gopro (Live Action)

Another live action video from KandKproductions. You know the ones that made the saiyan saga trailer that got quite mixed reviews from here.

So what's everyone's view on this video?

Personally I was quite shocked with Masakox as Goku! It almost feels like a real life abridged with him. The whole concept of the video was pretty good. Whole point of view thing is new.

Didn't like the size of the dragonballs.. :eh: I mean there's the bigger ones, like the 7.5 acrylic ones. Vegeta's voice... Well it speaks for itself.

Great concept.
Ok performance. I didn't see the point of having Masako voice Goku if no one else would have their abridged voices.
And the part with Supes felt kinda forced.

That was great. The color of Bulma's hair is too saturated but the actress does a pretty decent job IMO.

The only big problems for me was the difference in audio quality between Goku`s voice and the rest of the cast. It was very clear that it was a VA job done afterwards, and the fact that the actors... are not very good actors xD
But a fun video none the less!

Mmmm still waiting on a good director (that actually cares about the DB franchise) to take a crack at a live action adaptation.

These guys don't care? They did a fine job with a presumably very low budget IMO.

No I'm positive they care, the guy just lacks the skills a director like James Wong (relevant example) who, let's face it, didn't really care/know enough about the series to properly adapt it. People say a good live action adaptation of DB is impossible but just give it about 20 years and you'll have some seasoned American director who grew up and appreciated Dragonball enough to know exactly what to put in and take out (assuming Fox will still be clinging on to the rights by then).

That was pretty fun. Not the best, sure, but it's still amazing that they put this much effort into a fan project.

And Oolong was hilarious.
Usually goes by "Kevtrev" elsewhere online.
Draws comics that may or may not have been blatantly inspired by Akira Toriyama's manga.
