Next movie should be about Cell and then one for Majin Boo. ^_^
That'd be a terrible idea, not to mention just repetitive. It works in Frieza's case because the idea of bringing back a main villain a second time to relevance hasn't been done before and he's the series most iconic villain.

The listings for those figures that come out this spring; my new guesses now that we have the poster are:
DXF: Goku in ssjg, Vegeta, Freeza, Sorbet, Tagoma (I keep wanting to type "Tamako" with him >_< )
Master the Stars: Freeza in his new transformation

Good thing I said 'finalized'. If the animation is incomplete then the audio director is just making guesses.
Not really, as he has a script and, at the very least least, an extensive set of storyboards. Animating facial expression, body language and lip sync along to an already recorded vocal performance is a heck of a lot easier, and more natural looking in the final analysis, than visa versa. Animating a conversation based on nothing but a script is much more difficult and requires a great deal more in terms of guess work. Often for these sorts of production the dialogue is done first as a sort of 'audio play' with scene direction included in the track. More often than not, the best the voice actors get is a skeleton animation, with limited detail or backgrounds.

I really hope it works, Freeza is a great villain indeed, but I'm still rooting for new charactes instead of old ones, even is if it's Freeza, Toriyama's favourite.
English is not my first language!
I'm still waiting for Dragon Ball in Super...

Dark for Dragon Ball standards, of course.
And the Bardock special had all of that except the extreme gore part.[/quote]
No movie is darker than the first Broly movie, wrath of the Dragon comes close but it is lacking in destruction level just like all the other DBZ movies, movie 14 destruction level was lame flowers and tree's withstanding the full force of 2 gods going at each other lol. Better if the next movie isn't based on earth than atleast we will see better destructive feats on screen.

The thing is though, we had just got introduced to Beerus and Whis, it seems a bit pointless to introduce a new set of (important) charcters, when we've hardly known Beerus and Whis. I think it makes sense bringing back an old villain, it'll get more bums in the seat and the audience already know Freeza and his personality too.

Toriyama also said he "remembered how, back then, they [Maximum the Horimone] told me, 'Sorry, but we went ahead and sang about Freeza without asking'." Aha! So that’s what I could do."
I'm thinking the movie could involve reviving Freeza without "asking", as in not asking Shenlong to revive Freeza but rather using the dragon balls to do somethinf different.
I just don't see Sorbet's and Tagoma's objective to bring Freeza back from the dead with the Dragon Balls as being what happens, it's way too straight forward.
The worst wish in the history of the universe...it's gotta be more than mere revival.

"Never give in--never, never, never, never, in nothing great or small, large or petty, never give in except to convictions of honour and good sense. Never yield to force; never yield to the apparently overwhelming might of the enemy." ~ Sir Winston Chruchill / Dragon Ball Z in a nutshell

A wish that rewrites history then? Maybe it affects everyone but Gokû and Vegeta because they may be on Beerus' planet and that protects them, or Whis sees it coming and uses his powers to shield his planet from the wish?

Seeing as Freeza's first three forms were his own creations in attempts to control his power, these supposed further forms will likely be the SSJ's of his race. The 5th form being his SSJ1 and the possible 6th being his SSJ2.

The presents this time look like little Gokû and Freeza keychain or cell phone strap things.

Since Toriyama designed Coola's 4th and 5th forms, I suppose Freeza's new form could resemble Coola's 5th. I just hope it's not the only thing that makes Freeza an actual challenge and it's there just so it wouldn't be the same old Freeza anymore. The theory of Freeza becoming a god of destruction is somewhat interesting, if I do say so myself. I was expecting the new movie to touch on the "12 universes" theme, but oh well.

Just looking at the poster and while I liked it on first glance, it's really grown on me since I first seen it. I don't know how others feel about this but it really reminds me of some of the old school DBZ posters. Maybe it's the art style, I dunno, but it's awesome and while I loved the Battle of Gods poster I think I like this one even more.

Was the Freeza arc the last time the dogi sash made an appearance (outside of the epilogue to the series)?
*goes to check*.
On Gokû at least it was. Kuririn still has the sash during Cell.

Ah, so Freeza gets to keep his empire and that's why Krillin is still active(possibly rebelling against Freeza's empire?) and Gohan is different(no ultimate eyes).
That would be an interesting spin, but it wouldn't sit well with me, that Shenlong could fuck so much with reality.

Not to mention Boo is right there with the Z Fighters and he's a good guy.
