What if you had a "Super Saiyan God" for every race?

Then I'd hope the other Namekians would help Piccolo achieve God form. Maybe even Krillin could become Super-Human-God. Tho now it's starting to become God overload and not as special. Just like SSJ became.

It doesn't sit that well with me either (because Shenlong doesn't seem like he could possibly be that powerful)

He could just create an alternate timeline from scratch rather than re-writing the current one. I think that would seem easier.

Do you think they'll get hax power-ups as well? And how strong would Freeza's new henchmen be?

To be honest, I think this "Super Saiyan God/Freeza" fluff is degrading and boring. It's almost laughable that instead of making something fresh and consistent with the original anime/manga, they have to make stronger transformations, more power ups, bigger explosions, old villains come back, etc. Most of the characters are useless by now, and shouldn't even be in the movie unless you want to watch them get smacked around for the sake of "oh no, they can't beat this opponent one million times their strength!"

The series had more realism when Freeza was exterminating everyone because of his fear that they would rise up against him.

I was thinking this but I won't say every race, but every warrior race, that'll make the most sense, I mean what would a peaceful race like the nameks do with a God power up?

Maybe so, but there's such a huge gap between Krillin and Piccolo, I'm not sure where the henchmen would be placed. Maybe the stronger-looking one would be placed more where Piccolo's at (which is ridiculous considering Piccolo's power is MASSIVE compared to Freeza's power in the series), while that Koala-looking one would probably fight Krillin. Not only that, but what would Gohan do if his father and Vegeta are fighting Freeza while Piccolo and Krillin fight the henchmen. Just stand there? And I doubt the henchmen are anywhere NEAR his level, so he could just one-shot them both in like 2 seconds and then everyone deals with Freeza for the rest of the movie.

Yamcha was on the BoG poster and he had.. one line in the regular cut.

and Gohan is pretty much fodder now too.. "Mystic" is nothing fanboys have to deal with it.

Their last movie encounter didn't go so well. Ha!

But yeah, I'm wondering how Freeza's going to be much of a threat to anyone in the cast.

Freeza's pretty much my favorite anime villain. So as far as I'm concerned, this movie can do no wrong for me.

Toriyama and co. would have to try really freakin' hard to screw this up. (Toei has proven they can, so I can see people's concerns over that.)

I have faith that the 2015 movie will have some interesting developments and fresh content. If I'm wrong, I will totally eat the hat I am wearing.

The only time he wasn't was during his fight with Cell and the only reason he made it through it was because of Goku&Vegeta stepping in.

I'm sorry to say you won't have to do that because Toriyama's editor likes the story and from what i read he's very hard to please.

I think that's a very good idea to begin with. I that case so many questions will get explained. For example, that Frieza can not be reusrrected, but with reality altering he can be alive once again.

I imagine a dialog between Shenlon and the henchmen:

Exactly, a reference to Pilaf wish to be younger, or like in GT to make Goku child again.

I can't see an alternate reality where Freeza not getting defeated doesn't involve him slaughtering the heroes on Namek. And if you're only talking about when he actually died as Mecha Freeza, then he should still be Mecha Freeza (and probably still have killed all the people of Earth).

I'm not really feeling it. I'm going with no reality warping, just doesn't feel like a Toriyama thing for this film.
