How come? Is there a rule that states his hair/aura has to be red?hleV wrote:No he won't. It would be ridiculously stupid if he did.ChahikoDBZ wrote:From the looks of it Vegeta will likely have blue hair in his God form.
Re: Official On-Going DBZ 2015 Movie Thread: "Fukkatsu no F"
Yes. Goku's SS was blonde → everyone's SS was blonde. Goku's SSG was red → everyone's SSG will be red. It would make absolutely no sense for the form to produce different colors for different users, logic doesn't work that way (even by DB standarts). It's not GT, it's not AF, and Vegeta's SSG hair will not be blue only because some think it would look cool, deal with it.Doctor. wrote: How come? SSJG is an entirely different transformation. You can't assume stuff as fact just because it was the case with other transformations. I won't have a problem if Vegeta's SSJG turns out to be red as well, but it will just help feed the criticism Dragon Ball often gets about not having enough variety with the transformations and attacks.

I think there's no rule to forbid Vegeta to have blue hair as a God, but still people, come on, would he look any nice with that hair color?hleV wrote:Yes. Re: Official On-Going DBZ 2015 Movie Thread: "Fukkatsu no F"
I'm not thinking it will be blue because it will look cool. I'd actually prefer it red. I'm going based off the poster because it shows a tint of magneta on Goku's hair and a tint of blue on Vegeta's. It would also make sense to why the color scheme of Vegeta's outfit has been changed. Too much blue would look weird.hleV wrote:Yes. Goku's SS was blonde → everyone's SS was blonde. Goku's SSG was red → everyone's SSG will be red. My problem is that people put DB on power rangers level. It's not. This much faith, I do have in Toriyama. Like I said, it wouldn't make sense for different SSG users to have different colors. It would be illogical. How many times do I have to tell that to get it through power ranger fans' heads? Why would the same transformation produce different color only because it's a different person? Can you explain this? You can't. You simply want it because according to you, it would look cool. You don't look for any logic in DB, you look for cool looking characters. That is a problem as far as I'm concerned. (Not necessarily speaking about you specifically, but about some fans in general.)Doctor. wrote:SSJG is an entirely different transformation. So don't get your hopes high. Hell, I'd be willing to bet money that it's gonna be the same red if Vegeta gets SSG, because like I said, I do have some faith in Toriyama's ability to think logically (Toei's? Not so much. If they were making the design, I wouldn't be here discussing SSG hair color), which apparently some fans are uncapable of.
In the poster Goku is clearly in his base form, so his hair shade color makes absolutely no difference. Why would it be an indicator of Vegeta's SSG hair color?ChahikoDBZ wrote:I'm not thinking it will be blue because it will look cool. I'd actually prefer it red. Hm, why are you assuming I want Vegeta's SSJG color to be blue? I simply asked what would be wrong about it. I don't care either way.

You could be right but I'm saying.hleV wrote: In the poster Goku is clearly in his base form, so his hair shade color makes absolutely no difference. Why would it be an indicator of Vegeta's SSG hair color?
Magenta was the color of Goku's God hair and:
There's magenta lightning beside Goku making a magenta shading on his hair.
There's blue lightning beside Vegeta making blue shading on his hair.
So that could indicate the colors of their God forms. I was hoping for it to be the same color as Goku's but I'm just saying it might not be.

It wasn't Toriyama who made the poster. Toei is known to like variety when it comes to hair shade colors, plus remember SS4 differences between users.ChahikoDBZ wrote:You could be right but I'm saying.hleV wrote: In the poster Goku is clearly in his base form, so his hair shade color makes absolutely no difference. Toriyama's comments on lack of SS2, 3 and God in future iterations of Goku already is on Toei level of bullshit-ness, if you ask me.
I wouldn't be at all surprised, if Vegeta does get the blue hair, that the poster is teasing us with.

Re: Official On-Going DBZ 2015 Movie Thread: "Fukkatsu no F"
You're imposing your own rules that were never outlined by anyone in authority. You're making a huge assumption(all Super Saiyan Gods have red aura), and being weirdly adamant about it. It's a magical transformation that can pretty much do whatever it wants. Couldn't I, in turn, tell you that there's no reason Vegeta's God Form cannot be blue, and you just don't want it that way, because of "power rangers," whatever on Earth that even means?hleV wrote: problem is that people put DB on power rangers level. Hard to tell when you're using a small, poor quality image of Vegeta wearing a different outfit that he is in the film and uses a different sort of colouring style. It's obviously subjective anyway.Low Tone G wrote:Does Vegeta really look good with blue hair?dbgtFO wrote:Toriyama's comments on lack of SS2, 3 and God in future iterations of Goku already is on Toei level of bullshit-ness, if you ask me.

Poster tells us with the lighting, and it fits together with his change of clothing colour scheme. I would welcome the blue hair. You can explain it with personality differences (Like people suggested before). Toriyama does design with personality in mind IIRC.

Re: Official On-Going DBZ 2015 Movie Thread: "Fukkatsu no F"
On Low Tone G's examples, Vegeta's blue hair look horrible.
If it's the blue shade we see on the poster though (much like the magenta shade Goku has that happens to exactly match his Super Saiyan God hair color), then it looks very cool.
I'm okay with Vegeta having the same hair color than Goku, it would be logical that a same transformation has the same effects, with Toriyama claiming he chose red because it looks strong.
But I'm also okay with Vegeta having the poster's blue tint, it would be logical that since the transformation is based on a person's nature as it modifies it to that of a God, it also bases the resulting physical appearance on the person's nature (a "warm" fiery expressive person like Goku being red-tinted, a "cold-blooded" introverted person like Vegeta being blue, which is the usual Japanese choice of colors: see Goku-Vegeta, Naruto-Sasuke, Dante-Vergil...).
So both are good and okay, BUT most fanarts showing blue-haired Vegeta look horrible, it really needs to be the tint shown on the poster to be gorgeous.
And I agree that it would explain why Vegeta's trademark blue has been removed from his clothes: overdose of blue is partly what makes it look horrible on fanarts.
If you think of Vegeta's blue clothes being removed, and Vegeta's being presented as the exact reflection of Goku on the poster with Goku having a lighting showing what he looks like as a Super Saiyan God and Vegeta having the same kind of lightning with another tint, it starts to pile up a big amount of coincidences.
If you imagine Vegeta just like he is on the poster with the exact blue tint shown on the poster, it looks good.

Arguments don't work that way. There's no reason to believe that SSG is anything other than red, not the other way around.B wrote:You're imposing your own rules that were never outlined by anyone in authority.
