Official On-Going DBZ 2015 Movie Thread: "Resurrection 'F'"

I share that opinion. BOG was a great movie, I think the best DBZ movie, but still it could have been even better. I think BOG was just an attempt to check the fadom's reaction out.

The minions has surely learnt about the Dragon Balls through research. For me there is only one thing that makes me to feel that bringing back Freeza isn't entirely baseless. I've always wondered what happened with Freeza's loyal underlings if none of our heroes bothered to finish that empire off after the Freeza saga. So even if I'm not satisfied with Freeza to come back again his presence isn't that totally pointless.

And let's not forget this was teased in BOG. Beerus was surprised Freeza was Killed. He was saying maybe he would do it himself.
Those flashbacks of Goku figting Freeza wasn't just for the show. His revival won't be pointless and will bring us some new backstory.

Yup, Freeza got mentioned so many times in BoG that it wasn't surprising to me that he was the one to be revived.

I would love this movie ending with Freeza surviving what would actually explain how he had a son in the future.

I think none of heroes will be able to kill Freeza.

I think Vegeta will beat him but before he can finish him he finds a way to open a gate to another universes and escape to it which will lead into the 3rd movie.

That is my second idea too, but I do not see Freeza to be humiliated once again, as to run away when is about to loose. We have a story of despair after all, so I think Frieza will be overwhelmingly strong so Whis being the strongest and the most intelligent God(I hope he is) finds a way to postpone the fight untill they will be ready to fight him again.

No really. Not the first time it has happened. In fact I predicted that Goku will befriend Beerus during the battle and thus saving the Earth by doing so. So I was about 75% correct. So nope I wasn't shocked at Goku losing or giving up.

There is evidence. In M10 & M11, his hair are golden in both SS & LSS. Meaning that, including games:

Base with MC device ---> purple SS ---> green LSS ---> green SS3 ---> green Golden Oozaru
Base without MC device ---> golden SS --- golden LSS ---> golden SS3 ---> golden Golden Oozaru (we haven't see the last one, but that should be it logically.)

By "evidence", I mean something official that states "Broly's hair was green due to the mind-control device", or somesuch--otherwise this is just your opinion. Imo, it makes no sense for his hair color to still reflect the effects of a device that was no longer present.

I mean, even the official breakdown of Broly's forms in the Trunks anime comic doesn't even allude to your theory being correct. /shrug

Don't you see that Beerus that the highest rank in the universe, and due he is selfish? So he definitely didn't want to loose his credibility as the God Of Destruction. I know many people who in fact are not that asswholes in reality, but they keep themselves to be in order to protect their image.

It makes me think of when Nozawa interviewed him on camera while BOG promos where going on; he had on a dark blue sweatsuit; Gokû turns up in BOG wearing a light blue sweatsuit. XD

Yes but After Whis talked/claimed him down. Had Whis not been there, there is no doubt Beerus would have done it. Even so, I don't go yelling that I am gonna kill my friends.

I sense sarcasm. When the interview came out saying Toriyama wrote it as if he was writing the manga. That's when I made my prediction I believe. I had a feeling Goku wasn't winning. I didn't see far. I just predicted the ending. Not the entire movie. If anything those seroious trailers were more surprising seeing as the movie was anything BUT serious.

The trailers definitely felt more in line with the scrapped version of BOG's plot, the one with evil lizard!Beerus.

I'm curious to see how they'll frame 「F」's trailer.

If you do, then fine. I personally can't see them real friends because I think Goku possibly wouldn't let Beerus die, but Beerus would let Goku without any remorse.

Broly's hair was Green, there is no explaination why it was. It just was. Was it said that LSSJ had green hair? No.

Funny for you to mention it, because unlike all the "pls make SSG Vegeta's hair blue 'cuz to me it looks cool and I don't care about logic" crap, Broli's hair color actually had logical basis to it, which is the mind control device which produced purple color when intact and released a lime color after-effect when broken. Even if it didn't have an explanation, I don't see how it's more relevant than, say, SS4. Neither were colored by Toriyama.
