Unfortunately, we still don't know how soon after BOG F takes place.
The absolute earliest I'd expect them to tell us the time frame would be next weekend when (hopefully) a trailer appears on FujiTV the way BOG's did that weekend of 2012.
They've done well keeping the leaks from leaking; we don't even have any pictures of semi-spoilery WCF figures yet.

We don't yet know when this new movie takes place, so that question can't be answered yet.

It's probably safe to bet that the movie is at least three years after Battle of Gods, since we know Beerus is in it, so...Pan and Bra would be about 2-ish? I guess?
Again, this is just a pot-shot guess though - as has been said, nothing has been revealed to confirm or deny this. For all I know, it could turn out Beerus slept longer than three years, or he could have woken up early too. There's just no telling yet.

Yeah, that is what I think so as well, if! Whis probably isn't sleeping off and is that type of watchful god same as Kaio and Kaioshin and alerts Beerus if some amiss is going on.
I think that revival of Freeza and some weird stuff that makes him menacing will probably catch their attention.

I hope this movie showcases Krillin more than the other movies have. He seems to always be that guy to get knocked out first or doing something silly supportive a non fighter can do.. It's time for Toriyama to prove he really is the strongest human alive.

I think the movie will take place after Battle of Gods left off and Beerus is awaken early due to the wish that brings back Freeza. I don't think we will see Bra and Pan yet.

I think he's definitely going to get to do some fighting stuff. On the BOG poster he's standing in the background holding a glass of beer and looking puzzled; on F's poster he's in his dogi making a fighting pose.
Unrelated to the above, but related to the thread itself:
I've found the current 2ch thread for F:

Atm there isn't any news there that isn't here, but as we all live in different time zones, if someone spots something while others are asleep or away here's the thread.

I really hope so cause I was thinking that exact same thing when I saw him on this poster for BOG. Then it just changed dramatically haha.

Oh wow I'd forgotten he'd still had his Buu arc hair in that initial BOG promo art. O_O
(Also, seeing Goten and Trunks on said initial BOG promo art makes me even more curious about their absence on F's poster.)
I do think your chances are much higher this time though due to battle-ready Kuririn being on the main movie poster.
I'd imagine Mayumi Tanaka will want to talk about Kuririn's new-old look on the poster and his role in the movie at the OP/DB Jump Festa panel as well.

I know Toriyama doesn't want to but I really hope any other future movies take place after 519, anyone else with me on that?
Who knows if we even get anymore but I dunno how many more stories can you tell in such that small gap between 518 and 519?

I just got around to watching Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods again and saw some action cuts. I've got to say that even though the movie mainly focuses on comedy, the action has been for the most part intense. I'm not talking about just Naotoshi Shida's cuts, but on the general level, and that's coming from a limited production time and subpar key animators.
If 2013 movie is any indication, I'd say there's a good chance that 2015 Dragon Ball Z movie will have same level of action scenes as the previous movie, hopefully the key animators move on to the next level for even more intense action cuts. I hope for Shida to get few more cuts than last time. I wonder if Yamamuro has some contacts to recruit some action animators, perhaps Shida can find some for Yamamuro?

Yamamuro's contacts over the years have mainly been restricted to in-house Toei Animation employees. For example, Hosoda Mamoru, Ide Takeo, and Inagami Akira worked with him on Dragon Ball Z. For recent projects his main recruits have been Ide Takeo, Shimanuki Masahiro (who is no longer as good as he used to be), Oonishi Ryou (Super Saiyan Bardock versus Chilled, Super Saiyan God ritual), and Kan'no Toshiyuki (despite otherwise not working on Toei Animation projects these days). Hamano Yuu'ichi and Oonishi Ryou are both credited as animation supervisors for Dragon Ball Z: Kami to Kami. They might have been recruited by one of the producers or production coordinators, though. Hamano and Oonishi are both talented animators but didn't have the opportunity to turn in their best work. Right now Oonishi is busy as character designer and chief animation supervisor for Majin Bone so I have to doubt he will work on Fukkatsu no F. Hamano has done sparse work as of late outside of an appearance on PreCure every other month, so it's not impossible he has been working on this film, too.
It'll be interesting to see who can call in anyone unexpected. I can't think of any talented freelancer who isn't busy working on another, non-Toei Animation series at the moment. Matsumoto Norio has been quite but I would never expect him in a million years to work on this movie. Kan'no Yoshihiro, Shishido Nozomu, Takara Isamu and Ishigami Hiromi are usually very talented action animators, so if they can work on this movie and turn in better work than whatever they did for Kami to Kami that would be appreciated.

Even though it's sort of the Dragon Ball formula for the next villain to be stronger than the last does anyone think they'll actually make Frieza stronger than Beerus in this movie?
Goku already wasn't nearly as strong as Beerus, I can't imagine that he or a SSJ God Vegeta would be able to beat an even stronger Frieza.
Maybe they can make him stronger than the Beerus that was holding back at 70% so as to still up the stakes but for him to be stronger than him at full power, I dunno I don't see it this time.

Hmmm... maybe. Toriyama said that the power of a Super Saiyan God depends on the power of the Saiyan who becomes one. If Freeza gets a godly power-up, and it works similarly... then given how Freeza was said to still be more powerful than
(non-transformed) Goku in
Battle of Gods, as a god himself Freeza could end up a likewise lot stronger than Goku, and possibly even stronger than Beerus.
Great, now I've got myself wondering if the line in
Battle of Gods comparing Goku and Freeza was intentional foreshadowing.

That makes sense, I hadn't thought about that. O_O
Thank you, Kaboom.
If that's the case, the whole missing ssj on the poster may not affect anything.

I guess at this point it's anyone's guess. We really can't figure out anymore
Unrelated to the action animators, what is the chance for Mamoru Hosoda to work on the film? He did have experience with
Dragon Ball Z. He worked on
Dragon Ball Z episode 173 as well as
Dragon Ball Z movie 8 and 10 plus
Dragon Ball: Path to Ultimate Strength.

Hosoda Mamoru worked on the series in the early 1990s before he was a director. He's left Toei Animation is has his own original films produced so I doubt he will ever work as a key animator for something that is not his own film again.
Also, I just noticed that Tate Naoki has been a character designer for Disk Wars: Avengers since Episode #27, likely because Yamamuro Tadayoshi is no working completely on Dragon Ball Z: Fukkatsu no F. Tate Naoki performed the role of animation supervisor for half of Episodes #29-30, so I'm beginning to think that he'll be too busy working on Disk Wars: Avengers to work on this film.

Aww.

That'd be disappointing if Tate doesn't get to do anything for the movie.
I'd have rather had Tate on F than Yamamuro. ^^;

Yeah, it's a shame. Who knows, maybe he'll still do some action cuts or something if he's will do to without sleep for a week or two.

That'd be impressive dedication if he does. I hope he's able to turn in something for it, even if it's small.
Gohan on F poster vs Gohan in BOG question for everyone/anyone:
Is there any point in BOG where Gohan's shown having that open eye style as he has on the F poster? I'm just trying to figure out if its possible for him to jump back and forth or not, if the open eye is a plot point, or if it's just a mistake Yamamuro made while drawing.
