Le dictionnaire de Dragon Ball??

Alright, in case you didn't know, I live in Canada. The second language here is French. Well, I was at my not so local Chapters book store, and I ended up finding two Daizenshuu like books in the Manga section! They were 15.99 CAD each and in brand new condition. Now, I am pretty sure that the first one is simply Daizenshuu 1 translated into French:

HOWEVER, what really caught my eye was the next one. Titled "Le dictionnaire de Dragon Ball", this looked pretty much the same as Daizenshuu#7, except it is HUGE. And Daizenshuu 7 already is huge, but this one is GIGANTIC. My question is, is this book simply a translated Daizenshuu 7, or Daizenshuu 7 and some other stuff from other Daizenshuus? If anyone knows, it would be greatly appreciated.

The next picture clearly shows that the French Daizenshuu is bigger then Daizenshuu 7. Or does the hardcover just make it look like that? What gives?

Also, Daizenshuu's are available in German and French (and probably more). There could easily be some English versions, whether its by Viz or anyone else!

Sure would be nice to have an english version, correctly translated, and with errors fixed. But that is nothing but a pipe dream. :roll:

I really don't understand why Viz wouldn't do it. You'd think they'd want to milk the series for all it's worth. Especially since they've finished releasing the manga now.

My only problem with them doing it is that we'd most likely get the alterations like Vegerot and Hercu1e and Inferno Blast.

Those two books are simply the translation from the original japanese dainzeshuu's.
I own them as well, and they come with no extra material.
So there...

Thanks. Damn, I guess I won't get anything other then Daizenshuu#7 in French...Oh well, It's much easier to translate French then Japanese IMO.
