That Freeza picture is from a recent interview segment he did. Included are scenes from The Last: Naruto The Movie where Naruto tries to invite Hinata back to his place for some cup ramen. I assume that statue was how he intimidated his assistants!

I really hope that Freeza really raises the stakes in this movie. Waste no time getting his revenge. Destroy the dragon balls both on Earth and new Namek right away. Take out a few of Goku's friends (or the children). Those kinds of things. Make it feel like there is an actual threat.

Toriyama said that because of the Tohoku earthquake and tsunami in Japan, he doesn't want to tell a tragic story in DB anymore. Notice how Goku and Beers conveniently moved away from the city when they fought (so the city isn't damaged) and how no one died in BoG.

I'm beginning to think the movie is going to be some sort of alternate reality where nobody can transform into Super Saiyan and it isn't until Gokuu battles Freeza that he achieves Super Saiyan God and wins, sort of like a re-make of the Namek arc except with Super Saiyan God instead of Super Saiyan. Hmm...

Don't remember the ending of BoG being like that. The movie didn't end with an unresolved dilemma.

That is just setup for future plotlines or just an open ending. What was actually going on in the movie got a resolution. A cliffhanger is different.

Krillin is bald on the poster, right? Maybe he is bald because he had enough that his hair has begun to go gray. I mean it definitely takes place after BoG, but we saw Krillin that he went gray bit only in EOZ. I know that it was stated many times that Toriyama thinks that people got too old to be useful after the end of the manga, but still, why not a story after EOZ?

I don't know about Vegeta. But BOG implies that Goku now has dormant ssj god powers in him he cannot control. Once his body got a taste for the power, it was able to bring it back. Which is why he could fight Beerus for awhile without it. He seemed to spontaneously turn back into a god when he absorbed Beerus' energy ball. So it seems he may be able to channel the power sporadically. Perhaps they did or will do the ritual again to grant Vegets the power. Giving them both an increase in their base power and a greater potential though they may not be able to choose when the power is activated.

That would make for the best movie ever. Oh, do I just love cliffhangers! I would love if the third movie in this hypothetical trilogy featured all the gods from all 12 universes fighting one huge, giant battle against a seemingly unstoppable force. That would make my life.
