Yeah, I was hoping for some Vegetto love.

Edit- Can't believe it has been a year since these were announced. Where has the time gone?

Despite the quality, I'm not satisfied with 16:9. I want 2.39:1!!!

This is an 80s/90s animated all-ages show that was popular amongst kids. It's not some potent super weapon that might fall into the wrong hands that we have to protect from evil.

WOW. Where did you get that from? do you have it in any higher resolution? Would LOVE to make a poster out of it.

The leftover grain just looks unsettling and gross. The colours I will admit are better, however I'm still not buying these releases. :|
It is clear that sometime in Mark Satan's life, he acquired the dragon balls and called upon shenlong to grant him immortality.

So wait... Kid Boo is made out of Tangerines now? Even better!

10/10 perfect quality, Mr. YouTuber! He could've gone all the way to make it Ultra HD 8K.

How is the quality of the Buu arc compared to it's Kai counterpart ? If anyone has a screen comparison it would help.

The 2.0 Kai Blu-rays (and Broadcast too) tried to kept as much detail as possible and the selective croppping is pretty good though there's times they can't help it (or can but it was too late), and as for the Z Blu-rays the only thing they have going for it are the colours though even that isn't that great always.

Box 2 of Kai 2.0 looks really nice:
Here are screenshots of Z's Season 9 but this is from a YouTube video so it's not really the original source. It's all right just just to have a rough idea of how it looks like:
Downscaled to the resolution of a DVD looks really good and this could have replaced the Orange Bricks but sadly it didn't.

You're forgetting that the Z Blu-rays are blurred/defocused so you're losing out a lot of details due to this.

It doesn't look like it to me.

Do you have a side by side comparison of the 2 ?

I replied in the other thread but I'll link it here too since it's more relevant to this thread - http://www.kanzenshuu.com/forum/viewtop ... 20#p843129

I can grab some Blu-ray shots of Kai Box 2 shortly and do some proper comparisons too.

The Dragonboxes are like a middle aged woman who still looks good through simply taking good care of her skin and body with maybe a tiny bit of makeup while the Orange Bricks are like a middle aged woman who get's 50 tons of botox, makeup and plastic surgery in order to look younger and as a result looks even worse. ~ ringworm128

Anyone else get a Piccolo trading card with their Season 9 Blu-ray set?
Seems like it really is rare because I listed it on eBay for $15 and it literally sold within the first 2 hours.

Yeah I think my chances of getting that is pretty slim haha
