Apparantly, Solid State Scouter is in.

The people over at DBZonPS2 really know how to pull the media out of nowhere these days.

WARNING: Lotsa spoilers in these vids (the entire intro/story mode cutscenes/etc), so if you're one of the guys that doesn't want to half play the game before its released, stay well away from these.

If you don't have a media player that's MP4 compatible, try downloading 3ivx. Did the job nicely for me.
Aww...the links don't work any more.

How can a Dragon Ball game have spoilers? I think most of us have seen the show and know what happens. :/

I'm just exagerrating. I consider any type of Story Mode scenes spoilers, such as that long cutscene with the fight between Vegeta and Goku somebody posted. Again, I'm just exagerrating. Technically, we're all spoiled since we know the story already and that the cut-scenes are based on the anime. The only spoiler would only be the menus and the PS2 rendered stuff they're showing us. (Piccolo roaming around cities doesn't count as a spoiler, just the cutscenes).

WHAT!?!?!? Great, now it is spoiled for me! :P

Anyways, those of you that imported the game, when you get far enough, could you tell us what costume changes are there? Specifically, those of people who span multiple series (like a GT Kid Goku costume, or DB Kuririn, DB Yamcha, etc).

So we get Dan Dan as a in game background music then. Makes me wonder if we get Unmei too.

Hmm.. I was hoping we'd get a little more out of the story mode. Like, when you land somewhere you'd be able to walk around, or something like that. Oh well... It looks very cool.
There is no better combination in the world than Dragonball, Cherry Pepsi, and Cheez-Its. It's a proven fact.

Have..have you ever seen the Battle Stadium D.O.N opening and ending with the Dragon Ball Z characters? >__>

Because Trunks is 'the aw3some.'

And he's got a sword, and he's angsty.

And Meri wrote threat letters to Atari.

Is there a licensing issue with the cover art? If so, what's with Europeans getting the Japanese cover art? Why would Atari America massively cut down the quality of this extremely highly anticipated video game? You don't see Square-Enix America using random pictures. Bandai America also used the original artwork for Final Bout before Atari re-released it and changed the box art once again. This same question also corresponds to the music we're getting. Heck, I already pre-ordered the NA version without knowing anything about what they're going to do with the music. IF we get stuck with the alternate music, here's a message to Atari America: Hello? Pay up the music license and you can actually make more profit within the States.

Oh, and one more thing: BGM/SFX balance has better be right this time, or else the dialogue will be buried once again.

That being said, I'll wait for the game and see if the music stays.

One question: If Japanese version of the game shipped on the 3rd, when would people receive it? I would like to ask some questions about the game.

Why is Frieza always seen as the strongest in these things, like in the intro, Goku, Trunks and Vegeta are all throwing ki blasts at Cell, Frieza and Buu, and Buu and Cell go down while Frieze dodges and smacks them all out the way.

I like how the more ki you have, the bigger or smaller your finishing moves will be.

Didn't you know? VegettoEX was part of the intro movie animation team, which is obvious since his favorite villain is Freeza! (Yeah right!)

This question traces back to the intro movie. Ever Wonder why Trunks was standing in the center between the other two (the other two being Goku and Vegeta) when they turned into Super Saiyans? It looks like it was intended to be like that, which led to Atari America to put the bad Trunks picture on the cover.

Nah, it don't seem right. I mean game has over 100 fighters, has that ever been done before? Its not the "History Of Trunks" RPG. Its a fighting game featuring almost EVERYONE from the series! A group shot would have been better then just randomly choosing one fighter to be on the cover to represent the entire game. Atari made an ok cover for Budokai 1, after that everything has just gotten worse and worse. Its like they know the game is gonna sell so they don't care what the Hell is on the cover.

This cover reminds me of when I would buy fan subs in China Town. The videos always had crazy cover art that somtimes never went with the video. Like they would have a picture of Trunks slashing Frezza for the Boo saga or somthing. There is no reason for this.

Sorry for my rantgasim. :?
