Holy crap! I actually recognize that style of animation! Looking through his other works on that site, I'm even more upset at Precure because they're getting all the good peopleDragonBalllKaiHD wrote: Tadayoshi Yamamuro is the director for Fukkastu no F. He is the same person who has been doing this for past few projects. His works haven't yet impressed me. Yamamuro is the character designer and chief animation supervisor for Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods and the animation looks very messy and bland. What makes you think he will change his way for this film? A good character designer or chief animation supervisor has a good sense of direction to help key animators bring out their skills to create good cuts. A good chief animation supervisor makes a good storyboard for key animators to create cuts. Naotoshi Shida wasn't the character designer or chief animation supervisor, and yet he was allowed to create his own storyboard to create a very good cut. Tadayoshi Yamamuro wasn't able to do any of that.

Precure only got really lucky on the movie; the series animation this year's been awful compared to past years (episode 10 of HaCha is particularly hideous). The HaCha movie looks great, but at the cost of the series; something that I've never seen happen before and mostly blame Toei for taking on way too many projects to handle and thus losing control over quality.EA575 wrote:Holy crap! HaCha has had some well-animated episodes, but fewer than you'd think. They rely too much on the CGI power-ups this time around, and the regular 2D animation is a bit below average compared to past seasons.
OT: I finished translating all the katakana/hiragana from the story page. Will post shortly.

Oh, so it's similar to when they were making Film Z for One Piece and the Fishman Island arc was completely terrible during that time. Classic Toei.Chuquita wrote:Precure only got really lucky on the movie; the series animation this year's been awful compared to past years (episode 10 of HaCha is particularly hideous). OT: Trailer looks nice. I'm more interested in the credits now after all that's been discussed these past few pages.

July 9th 2018 will be remembered as the day Broly became canon.
Re: Official On-Going DBZ 2015 Movie Thread: "Fukkatsu no F"
So far all that HappinessCharge PreCure has managed this year is Itaoka Nishiki of Studio Live dedicating all of his free time to the series. According to the Studio Live website his dream to is to able to do all of the key animation for an episode himself without needing someone else to be animation supervisor. That's love...and he'll probably never do anything significant for Dragon Ball!
Re: Official On-Going DBZ 2015 Movie Thread: "Fukkatsu no F"
Huh, so Vegeta wears the symbol too....must be some Beerus/Whis training thing
Yamcha: Do you remember the spell to release him - do you know all the words?
Bulma: Of course! I'm not gonna pull a Frieza and screw it up!
Master Roshi: Bulma, I think Frieza failed because he wore too many clothes!

Goku, Vegeta, Beerus and Whiz seem to be in a different place than the others in some shots (pink sky).
