Huh. The animation looks a little bit better than the previous movie. Did something happen that changed this? I do remember Yamamuro saying something along the line of not wanting to do too much work himself. Maybe that's the reason he became the director and have the key animators do the cuts themselves with little interference from him? Of course that's only selective cuts for the trailer out of roughly two-hour long film. I still don't feel good about Yamamuro. If he managed to get enough talented animators, that's a good sign.

Yeah I noticed that too

But I think Vegeta is an SSJ God now, especially if he and Goku are training on Beerus' planet as suggested. It would also explain why we don't seem to see them in SSJ form whereas Gohan is shown going SSJ.

Alright, so this message says (very roughly):

In the aftermath of the fight against Hakaishin Beerus, the Earth faced great times of peace once again. However, a pair of leftovers from Freeza's army, Sorbet and Tagoma, are searching for the dragon balls. Their objective? To bring back Freeza for the good of their army.

The terrible wish comes true! Freeza, now revived, plots the Saiyan's destruction.

Later...Freeza's brand new army approaches Earth. Gohan, Piccolo and Kuririn must face 1000 enemy soldiers.

You know how in all of DBZ, Goku always gets that special training that no one else gets and if they do get it they get it way after he has, which always makes him one step ahead of everyone else? Like when he trained with King Kai. Or when he managed to do some training out in space and learn a cool technique no one else had so he could teleport all over the place. Or how in the afterlife he had the special circumstances that allowed him to achieve SSJ3?

It's very nice that it seems this time Vegeta gets to join him in that super special training. I believe they train under Whis on Beeru's world. It looks like Beerus is training them in his sleep, not even fully aware they're there. Like he shoots an energy blast at them sleep walking haha. It looks like the movie begins with them way over there while the others deal with Tagoma and Sorbet. I bet Goku and Vegeta don't get there until after the wish is granted.

Doesn't matter that they're both training, Goku will always be the best. Because he's the main character and because years later at the end of the manga he is still ahead of Vegeta (and it's implied that Uub is stronger than Vegeta).

I think people are wrong to assume Goku is the sole winner here (though he may be). They don't show Vegeta fighting at all... I think on purpose. BOG already showed that he has hidden potential that came out without him achieving God status at all. He was able to go toe-to-toe for a moment with Beerus without any real power-up. He may have something that is hidden inside that comes out again after this training. I think he is the true winner of the fight and the trailer doesn't want to give that away.

I also think him training with Goku will close the gap on their inequality in power a bit. If not unexpectedly give him the upper hand now that he is a good guy.

Exactly, the same thing happen With BOG, at the end of the teaser you can see Goku getting from Beerus that big attack, how the movie ends ? With Goku vs Beerus and everyone else just limited to see. It seems the same in this new movie, maybe Vegeta fights with someone powerful but the final fight has already the label of Goku vs Freeza.

I think in this movie both Goku and Vegeta will defeat Freeza. I don't think Vegeta will defeat Freeza alone, the ''savior'' role is not suitable for him.
