Vegeta didn't get much importance in the Battle of Gods trailers yet turned out to be 2nd biggest hero after Goku in that... hoping thats the case here.

Really hope the Goku/Vegeta vs Frizea fight in a little more than what we usually get in...

Goku and Vegeta get their ass kicked with Goku left standing and Vegeta knocked out... Goku is just about to be defeated yet Vegeta comes in with a last second sneak attack or power up and Goku saves the day.

Give Vegeta some proper glory!

I just watched the trailer again and found myself laughing when I noticed this kid.

I usually give animators a pass when crowd characters crammed into the background look a little off. More often than not they're too small and insignificant for occasional facial distortions to matter. But seeing as this is meant for the big screen... ugh. Just ugh.

Honestly, when it comes to Toei and Dragon Ball, we all have to learn to settle for what we can get. By Toei standards, the recent trailer footage looks serviceable to me. At least the colors appear more vibrant, bold and less glossy compared to the ones used in Battle of Gods.

Lol, that character looks like it's from a totally different cartoon.
But we should be happy we get something new again.

I've recently watched the trailer....
My thoughts:

[*]Why should Gohan be a Super Saiyan in every new trailer, oh God, tell me why? (Even it turns out in the final movie that he is still Mystic/Ultimate)
[*]I don't like Frieza to get immense power just because he was resurrected, I want the other thing that happens in the moment of his resurrection to be a right explanation.
[*]I don't like Piccolo to tell about Frieza's power, which sould be a Godly one, if he ca not sense God Ki. I don't want to hear that... Even if he told Goku in BOG that he didn't manage to transform into a God at his first ritual.
[*]I don't like the narration :

A battle surpassing gods begins — !!!!

Toriyama, please do not hype Frieza that much!!! If we can take that literally, Frieza has serious chances to surpass Whis, which he doesn't deserve it.
[*]There is one thing I like, Goku and Vegeta seem to train with Beerus, all them three under Whis! I like it.
[*]I wish this movie to end up just like BOG, because it can surprise me, still.

I don't know if this theory appeared here, but I've just read it somewhere else: if the wish wasn't for Freeza to come back, but to change history so he never died, all characters would be weaker now, Gohan wouldn't have a Mystic state, etc.

Nice to have a preliminary cast list up! If Kusao is listed, then it probably is a pretty safe bet that we'll be seeing Goten and Trunks after all. I just wonder if they haven't been shown yet because 1) they'll be pulling background duty, 2) they have updated teen designs that they don't want to spoil yet, or 3) both? I'm hoping for option #3, though by background duty I mean let them take out some minion hordes with Gohan, Piccolo, Kuririn, and the others.

Minaguchi being listed really makes me think we'll be seeing lil' Pan at last too. I mean, if we see Videl, we pretty much have to see Pan, don't we?

Hmm...wait a minute. Did the cast list not say who was going to voice Tagoma and Sorbet? That's weird...I wonder if they're actually not going to play as big of a part as we think, and really their only major purpose is that they're the two minions who happen to bring back Freeza?

This year limit thing has really gotten out of hand, but then again, I guess it's understandable - I was under that impression for a long time too. Not to mention that I don't think it was ever properly explained in-series compared to how it was out-of-series.

A common misconception is that there is a hardline rule stating that someone dead for longer than a year cannot be revived. However, this seems to only apply to a large group of people, as described by the God of Earth directly in the series: "Why do you ask? Are you intending to bring back to life all the aliens killed in the past by Vegeta and co.? That should be possible too of course, but it would only be effective for those who died within one year."

The ground they standing on looks like it's a planet at the otherworld to me if I am not mistaken. They better not low ball freeza's menace and destruction level of DBZ again spaceships landing with care on earth lol that is a new thing

Goku, Vegeta and Whis are training at the Hakaishin's residence(Beerus' homeworld), I suppose, that's why the sky is red. I guess that wave there is generated by Beerus, because he was showing how was he practicing martial arts.

Just saw the trailer, and it was great!

• It seems like Goku & Vegeta are getting training from Whis. NOT from Beerus, who wakes up during the movie, and was most likely sleeping for 3 years since BoG.
• No Super Saiyan Goku & Vegeta?
• Where the hell are Goten, Trunks, (Gotenks,) Yamcha, and Chaozu? Even Kame-sennin is there!
• Super Saiyan Gohan... My guess is that he transformed against Freeza's weak soldiers, since he wouldn't need to use Ultimate against them. Base would be more than enough, but seeing the numbers of the soldiers, I guess he used at least SS to be faster in defeating them.

And in an insane plot twist Future Trunks shows up out of nowhere, powers up to Super Saiyan 4 for some unexplained reason, slices up Frieza exactly like he did the first time, and warns everyone that Cell is back and more powerful than ever thus confirming the trend of bringing old villains back rather than make new ones.

Yes someone did earlier in the thread.

But I don't think it's wrongly coloured. I think it's the sign of Freeza being in God form. Goku also had "wrongly coloured" boots in BoG when in God form, for some reason.
