How about the scene where 4th form Freeza fighting Goku seemingly on par? His further evolution would put him way beyond a God? Or Goku would have been derived of his God powers?

It is certainly possible that Goku is accessing his Godly ki when we see him fighting 4th Form Freeza in the trailer. After all, he was able to access said ki in his base form whilst fighting Beerus. /shrug

I'm talking about Freeza, and his ability to fight a being like Goku, who does possess God Ki in his base form too, but Frieza doesn't have any signs to have God power, he is shown to be in his normal 4th form. I will commit suicide if it turns out that Frieza will absorb God power after his further evolution runs out, just like Goku did in BOG.

Would you guys a like a Beerus and Whis back story, see how Beerus came about being the God of Destruction? I certainly would. Be interesting to see who the previous GoD was, perhaps someone related to Freeza (could also tie into Freeza's back story too) ? Adding more significance to Freeza's revival and maybe explains why Beerus hates him so much.

Beerus doesn't hate him personally, he simply mentioned that Freeza was getting out of hand, and needed to be put down.

I don't think Beerus hates Freeza so much though. It seems he just doesn't like his arrogance and wanted Freeza to learn his place.

Your most likely right though, I maybe reading too much into it. But connecting back stories would be pretty cool,

Yes! I would totally like to see some backstory aside from what was shown in Battle of Gods
but I don't think Beerus hates Freeza, he just said how he has to be exterminated since he's a bad guy. but for what he said in Battle of Gods he wasn't even gonna do it because it was so far away from his palace xD

Think back to Namek; Freeza was the man to beat, and owned countless worlds. Even *if* there were beings like him,
Beerus had probably already taken care of them. His off-hand comment doesn't imply personal hatred.

At this point it's obvious that Toriyama doesn't remember half the little details from the original manga. I have a feeling a lot of things like the Bulma thing or the SSJ Gohan thing will keep happening as long as they keep making these new films. So far, the contradictions have been minimal. But I feel like eventually it's going to get to a point where it's going to screw up the end of Z (and the manga) and completely obliterate DBGT. Even though GT is not part of the original manga, it does exist. And unless they decide to announce that it "doesn't count" then it will still be pretty confusing for the average fan to understand what's going on. I mean, being a Dragon Ball fan is already pretty confusing. Thankfully a website like Kanzenshuu exists to help set people on the right path! But I meet "dragon ball fans" all the time who have no idea about many of the more confusing aspects of the series.

I think BoG kinda already did that. At the EoZ Goku is excited to fight Oob and suggests Oob could even beat him. Since BoG revealed Goku absorbed the god powers and kept them, that would make Goku hundreds of times stronger than Oob and there would be no excitement for a rematch much less the possibility of Goku losing to Oob. And iirc Goku even mentions not having had any challenges in 10 years which flies in the face of BoG and RoF.
