Did Nappa destroy a city in the manga?

Discussion, generally of an in-universe nature, regarding any aspect of the franchise (including movies, spin-offs, etc.) such as: techniques, character relationships, internal back-history, its universe, and more.

In the anime nappa nuked a city, it's clearly visible . But in the manga it looks like a country sized attack.

Yeah, he destroyed the city he and Vegeta landed in with that finger explosion attack.

But it's never stated on the scans, they even say none of the cities near the earthquake were responding.

And if by "scans" you mean "the pages that the manga is printed on and/or the digitally-available manga release"...

So basically you want to find out, if Nappa only destroyed that city or an entire country.
I don't think it's labelled as anything other than East City, how big that is compared to a real world country is anyone's guess, but of course countries don't have fixed sizes...

Even if it was stated that Nappa's attack 'only' destroyed a city, that particular city certainly appeared to encompass a very large landmass:
So if we assume said blast destroyed everything we see illuminated on the page, then I suppose it could technically be labeled as a 'country-buster' by RL standards. /shrug

The digital copies, I have gone through a lot of materials available online, approximately 1/4 translations mention he destroyed the city. While others translation never stated it. Leaving us with a image of a country level blast .

More or less, this topic had been bugging me for a long time. Considering piccolo could instantaneously destroy the moon, with some Effort, Nappa doing a country level blast makes sense due to the difference in power .
Also considering the fact even Deamon king Piccolo destroyed a city with nearly the same effort.

I think you missed my point (which I suppose is my fault for not being direct about it). Please do not bring fan scanlations of legally-and-widely-available material into the conversation.
