Dragonball Z 3

Post by Maker777 » Sat Oct 07, 2006 5:43 pm

Yesterday I picked up a copy of DbZ3 for AU$5 and finished the Goku storyline and was dissapointed to see after I killed Kid Buu the game ended. So I want to know do you go through the GT story with anyone?

IIRC, you have to have all the dragon balls and talk to Kibito-Shin just before you start the fight between Vegito and Gohan Buu. He'll tell you of an evil worse then Buu. After you kill Gohan Buu and Buu inside of Buu's stomach, then Vegita will tell you to kill this new evil. After you kill "the new evil", you fight another character in a cool match. After that, talk to Bulma in one of the cities, and you will get to play some GT storyline. Unfortunately, there is no Bebi or Super 17 stuff.

I probably missed some stuff. Gamefaqs should have help.

Turn up the difficulty. I also started the game and beat it too quickly, so I just out it on very hard. Since then, I won't tough anything less than Z1, although I prefer Z2. A lot of my characters aren't built up enough yet for Z3, but that's okay. Once you get them too powered up, Z3 even becomes too easy.

Oh, and play each characters' Dragon Universe a couple of times. There is a ton of stuff that isn't available until the second time around. And even after that, if you are like I am, you won't even find some things 'til the fourth time playing.

P.S. I've only had the game a couple of months, myself.

Four times?!?!?! Heck,I had to play thru the darn game like fifteen times with Goku cause I couldn't find the correct path to get Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta. It was driving me crazy. Especially since I kept choosing the same path about five times straight before I realized it. And I was only doing it to get all the story mode voice samples.

Which version of the game did you get? (Region and release) Some of the changes in the rerelease make it seem like an entirley diffrent game at times, and I love the three extra costumes. I love fighting Piccolo Daimao as Kid Goku.

I have the plain ol' regular original one. although i did find a copy of the GH at Sears and might buy. Besides the slight changes in the story mode you mentioned and the different costumes is there any real reason to pick it up?? will my current saved file work with it or do i have to start over?

You tell me, after you've read my lengthy editorial on the game. Long story short, the Collectors' Edition/Greatest Hits release is very different from the original release, needless to say that editorial I wrote is very comprehensive and will fill ya' in all the insides and outs.
