I still don't see how anyone can read the buu arc and think he doesn't care about his family, shit even Toriyama said he cares about his family(the interview that included gine), which sure as hell trumps your opinion. And while you make good points about him still being evil, i don't think Toriyama intended him to be evil at the end of the series.
