I missed out on all of the DB Movie fun, huh?
Point blank: it's gonna suck if you want it to. Personally, I'm seeing it as a comedy.

Also, my favorite outfit is Goku's sixth -- It's the one that lets you transform into the original Super Saiyan Goku design! :D
.
Is there a Teen Gohan with Movie 9 Gi? That would be a dream come true. :D

As for the original SSJ Goku design, does that mean the no detail, sometimes huge hairstyle? Because if that it true, that is pure pwnage.

Nope, I'm one of the people who pre-ordered the American version of the game. We have very little to say at this point because speculation is useless now that the game has made way into others' possesion. Remember how I just overflowed the boards with videos and thoughts about the game before it was released? As of right now, I'm barely posting anything of speculative nature because I would sound like an ass if I do that in front of the owners of the game. All I'm doing now is posting reactions to what people think about the game.

And yes, Mr.Piccolo, I want the game as badly as you do. (I think. :?: )

We don't know that yet, but hopefully, not much. XD We don't another european Gamecube Budokai 2 case where half the american populace of this forums complained about us getting the best versions and/or covers.

I know this is off topic, but say I bought a European PS2. It would play Japanese games as well, right? They're both Region 2?

Let's just hope that the European version has the Japanese BGM. But then again, Sparking! didn't, so I tend to doubt it... but I will continue to be optimistic! :D

And, of course, the European version has the JPN cover art.

I'm typing this because this text is small... lol.

Nope, just two outfits. =( Which is odd, since they actually bothered to include a Movie 9 scenario.

Yep, that's the one. :) It's got a lot less definition and stuff in terms of lines... although once you transform to a higher level the hair looks like it does in the other costumes. There was a screenshot of that particular costume posted a few dozen pages back, I think...

I think you got it on the first one Kvon. That looks really cool, I'm surprised that they actually included that in the game, and not the movie 9 gi.

P.S: Am I right about the European PS2 working for Japanese games? I seriously need to play this game.

Am i the only one who liked the intro?

Granted, it was nowhere as good as the Budokai 2 & 3 intro but i found it to be okay, and way better than the intro for the first Sparking. It was not spetacular, but i didnt find it bad.

Anyway, out from all the positive respone this has gotten I'm becoming more and more hyped for this, I'm still waiting for the Wii version. Screw PS2! I want to play with the sexy controller. :D
Currently playing: The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess (Wii), Jump Ultimate Stars (DS).
Currently obsessed with: Death Note, Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo, Busou Renkin

Does anyone know if this game was Kazuyuki Sogabe's last work in the DragonBall world?

You can play as Arale?!
That is so many levels of awesome. X3 And it makes up for Chi-Chi being left out after she was included in Chou.
Arale VS Freeza is going to be fun.
Well, that might not be true. There was a list of playable fighters posted on Daizex.com and shes not on that list.

They could have made a model for her just for a cutscene if they're covering Dragon Ball, which I doubt.

It could be anything ranging from a simple sound effect that somehow got ARALE as its filename to a cameo line. Anyone who owns the game hear anything that resembles to Dr. Slump at any degree?

Ah, I made that post before he uploaded the list onto the front page.
Maybe she's part of some option or setting screen art then. OR whatever the Dr. Slump theme music happens to be may be one of the choosable battle soundtracks.

Question: Does Vegeta have his BAD MAN outfit as a costume in this game?
On hiatus.

I haven't seen the "Badman" Vejita costume yet. Pretty sure that it isn't in the game. I think I'm about ninety-one percent through the story mode. I'm still not sure what I need to get the next story point.

Spoiler

The last story point I did was that fantastic Raditz one where he loses his memory. I'm thinking that the next story will be a Dragonball one. I'm just unsure of how to unlock it at the moment.

I'm not sure if this has been shown before...it's a nice video of a tag-team match with Buu-saga Goku and Paikuhan on one side, and SS2 Cell-saga Gohan and Videl as Great Saiyaman 2 on the other side.
