Nah. It's not really connection speed, it's stability. The test was held during a pretty solid period, but there are times that it's just all over the place. Every couple hours it may shut off and come on repeatedly for like 10 minutes at a time, or just be a full on dick and stop for a couple hours at a time (especially seems to like doing this if there is something I find important going on; news leaks, live streams, specific conversations, etc).

I may just go the PS3 route I guess. Never hurts to have options available.

Possibly getting a PS4 as a gift soon, but don't have the resources to pay for PS+ for online...
Wouldn't mind getting it for Steam since we'll eventually have mods, but my current computer doesn't even meet the minimum specs...
Don't really want to get it on PS3 just for the online capabilities though.

With you doing commissions I'm sure you'll be able to get it on PS4 should you get one. Why wait when you can enjoy it sooner especially if what your playing for doesnt depend on online stability?

I'd really, really like to, and not just for Xenoverse. The more time that passes, the more my computer degrades. I used to use Photoship for my commissions, but my computer can't even run it without freezing now. I'm looking into upgrading the hardware, but the computer was a cheap thing that wasn't exactly made to be upgraded, just replaced once it starts turning to scrap. I don't have the resources to pay for PS+ on the PS4 every month with my bills though, so I certainly don't have them to pay for a whole new, custom build that's actually designed for this type usage I'd desire. :/

That's where my current train of thought is leading me. I'm mostly getting Xenoverse for the same reasons I've gotten previous DB games. The option for the online community could be nice if I end up wanting/needing it though.

Oh god yes! Pre-ordered the PS4 version before this was announced. This is just icing on the cake.

On the subject of SergioM3's model videos... isn't it entirely possible that those assets were simply what had been made by the time the Network Test came out? The data could literally represent the game's code at any point in the development process. I think it's quite presumptuous to say outright that those are the final assets.

Well, I've at least admitted that's a possibility. Though I'd also like to point out that things have lined up pretty good so far with what we've been told during promotion about the number of customizable items and the number found in the game data. They were already pretty close to the number they gave us, so they probably didn't have much left to add in terms of clothing. That doesn't really mean anything for the actual basic features we swap between for the initial creation though, so I'm hoping they're still adding more. Specifically more hairstyles for the Earthlings/Saiyans and just features in general for Freeza's clan. The Namekians and the Majins seem pretty well covered right now, but they could always add more if they'd like.

Well I Pre-Ordered the PS3 version. I don't have a PS4, and I don't wanna shell out $300 for one, just to pay $40 for PS+ on top of the game. Already have internet and a PS3 and PSN is free. A PS4 isn't so much better for me to put money on it yet, and half the games for PS4 are put out for PS3 as well, so I don't feel the need for a new system yet. The graphical difference isn't a deal breaker for me, and for a DBZ game it hasn't been that big a deal anyway. The experience is going to be virtually identical, so PS3 works for me.

From what I've seen that the PS3 and PS4 play pretty much the same. I will get it on the PS3 since I already have one. It's not like with MKX where the past gen systems are made by a different development team.

Most people here are getting it for the Sony Consoles, so if you ever want to have a Kanzenshuu Plays session, you know which one to choose. Forum aside, just get it for the console your friends will.

Most get one or the other system, so buying the game for both systems is a bit costly. Especially if you don't already have them. If I had to choose I'd do PS4, just cause I'm more a sony fan, and because I wouldn't want to pay for networks for both consoles. Already pay for internet, don't want to pay for PS+ and XB1 network. Way too much money thrown out for a low-income family. Hence my personal choice being PS3 with the free PSN. I think PS3 is the one that'll be more commonly used because of this.

Exactly that is why I am getting a PS4 in July along with Xenoverse(and any game that has come out by then that I truly want).
