Kai Sumitomo vs BoG Sumitomo

I didn't mind him at all in Battle of Gods. In fact, I thought he did an exceptional job.

When Kai began, I found myself once again pleased with his work. It was very different from Yamamoto's style, but the Buu arc itself is different from the rest of the series in many ways, so I thought it fit well. While I loved the first several episodes, the selection quickly thinned, and with each new episode, the score became very predictable, repetitive and at its worst, inappropriate. I'm not sure if I can blame Sumitomo himself for not writing enough, or the people at Toei who handled the selection.

I like Sumitomo, and have no issues with him taking over the series.
I just hope that he can last.

Probably toei with the selection after all kai 2.0 is a cheaper property than kai 1.0

I much prefer his work in BOG than in Kai because in BOG he actually had a budget to work with, whereas in Kai you can tell he's being forced work on scraps.
