But what happened to that planet (That I'm assuming is Vegeta)that Bardock fought Freeza on in the trailer?maiku84 wrote:They sadly didn't include seperate stages for stuff like that, so you fight Tullece on the mountain road and Earth in ruin stages (the latter being the one you get from using one of the moves that blow up stuff good -- like Final Flash, Genki Dama, etc.). =/ That's also why Bardock fights on Namek in the Lonely Final Battle stages -- it acts as a sort of 'generic alien planet' for that story. The Tori-bot wrote:... Why are they on the road where Vegeta fought #18? Shouldn't they be at the Shinseiju?
EDIT: Hah, awesome, name-correcting word filters.
Edit: Also, track 2 of the English music makes me think of Mario Kart 64 Rainbow Road. Ahh, the memories of my childhood, back when I didn't have a care in the world.
Edit 2: a lot of this stuff makes me think of various Nintendo games. It's good, but it doesn't feel like Dragon Ball. It'll do though, as I prefer new music to rehashing the Budokai music.

Thanks for your help everyone. I generally can turn Super Saiya-jin now. And for the ignorant, just because I live in Japan, doesn't make me Japanese. Strange, mindblowing concept, yes, I know. So I have a lot of problems with Kanji. It isn't really that simple to learn...
Secondary question. I just finished the game last night, and I have another like 12 characters to unlock. Any thoughts on how to do that? I played the entire game at level 2 so does that mean I have to play the entire game at level 3 now? Thanks again.

Having not seen the trailer... Did it have a night sky with a large planet/star seen in the background, and little pod-like buildings strewn here and there on the battlefield -- or was it just a reenactment of the climax to the special, where Bardock gets up close to Freeza's ship and unleashes his final attack?Taku128 wrote:But what happened to that planet (That I'm assuming is Vegeta)that Bardock fought Freeza on in the trailer?

If it's the former, that's a stage in-game that as far as I know is never used. It's listed as "wakusei"/"Planet" in the stage list.
Sounds like most of them are characters you get from Z-Fusion... A lot of people seem to miss Grandpa Gohan, Tao Pai Pai, etc. especially... Have you done any of the item fusions in the Evolution Z menu?Shibuya_Superstar wrote:Secondary question. I just finished the game last night, and I have another like 12 characters to unlock. The last one is (highlight!) Beautiful Ambition. It is the Zarbon what-if, where Zarbon tries to gain the Dragonballs himself. To unlock it: Play Freeza Saga mission 01, "The Persuer who Brings Death" (Gohan/Krillin vs. Dodoria) and defeat Dodoria.EvilGamerX wrote:I got all the characters and transformations. 95% done. I did the Raditz what-if and the If Buu was never released what-if. Anyone know what the other/s is/are?

That's what it was! I knew there was a mission like that in the Freeza sga, I just forgot which. Thanks a bunch.maiku84 wrote:The last one is (highlight!) Beautiful Ambition. As of now I have no interest of getting a Wii so I'll defintiely be at the store on Nov. 7 or 8 to get the PS2 version. I'll probably end up getting a Wii after it's been out for 2 or 3 years like I did with my Gamecube, or when it gets an original Zelda title (Twilight Princess doesn't count since I'll be getting it for Gamecube).

IGN has said that it will take more than 60 hours of gameplay and less seasoned players might have to spend even more time. My guess is that these are simply gamers who are experts and rush through whatever they can play with. (And have no life.Steven Perry wrote:Wait... isn't this game supposed to have '80 hours worth' of gameplay? Why is everyone completing it so fast?![]()
... or do you just play the game 24 hours a day, 7 days per week? Wait.. the game hasn't been out that long, so that's not right...

So, you got it 100% huh?
Ok, so inquiring minds want to know. What is the real scoop on this Arale nonsense. Is she in the in the game or not?

There is no better combination in the world than Dragonball, Cherry Pepsi, and Cheez-Its. It's a proven fact.
