Chala Head Chala is my favorite. It was tough to choose between this and Dan Dan, but I have more nostalgia for Chala Head Chala.

Now... for THE WORST opening EVAR.

GT Rap opening. I dunno what you call it, but when I hear it I mute the entire opening until the episodes start.
It paints a very bad, horrible picture to Dragon Ball. Just, no. lol
When I choose to look at GT, the background music must be Japanese Audio only. Maybe it's just me.

Let that GT rap opening never be spoken of again due to how utterly awful it is (+ an embarrassment to the franchise) and I've heard Dragon Ball raps a lot better and more faithful than that one.

By the way, since it's 2015 is it known who was the guy behind the GT rap? The guy who rapped this probably doesn't want to be associated with this either. lol

Cha La Head Cha La. It's a timeless classic, however, Mystical Adventure comes in at an insanely close second, followed by We Gotta Power, Dragon Soul and Dan Dan, in the closest top five list of anything ever.

We Gotta Power, Dragon Soul, Mystical Adventure (English) and Cha-La. But also I still have a fondness for Rock the Dragon as it's like the MK and X-Men themes where as soon as the first notes start, you recognize it. It was also how I first heard DBZ.

I've never gotten into We Gotta Power, its not a bad song by any means its just isn't as fun to belt out as the others. I've yet to hear Kuu Zen Zetsu Go.

"Mystical Adventure" is what plays in my head first when I think of Dragon Ball, regardless of what arc or storyline it is. Same goes with "I'll Give You Romance".

6: Dragon Soul- Never liked this one I don't get why this one is so liked in fact I'll say that I enjoyed the GT rap more than dragon soul.
In terms of the game openings nothing can beat the biggest fight in GT Final bout.

1:Rock the Dragon
2:English version of Mystical Adventure
3: Step into the Gran tour
4: The opening in the Buu arc
5: Opening in the Cell arc.
Dishonourable mention: That Dragonball ZEEEEE, opening in some of the movies.

Really hits that sweet "How could you NOT want to watch this show after seeing this opening" spot for me.

Makufushigi Adventure is the best for me. The intro clips they used really go towards exemplifying the carefree adventure feel that's there in early Dragonball (especially the shots of Goku flying on Kinto'un). The instrumental version is really great as well. They often use it at moments when things turn Goku's way after a difficult patch. The instrumental has a triumphant sound.

I have a soft spot for the weird drum n base thing they put together for the UK DB intro though. I can't really describe why I like it, other than it being very "of its time". It's of a time where dubbed anime producers were trying to be very hip and give anime that were quite old more modern underground intros to make them seem "cool" and draw viewers into watching the show, but by now it seems retro in its own right, which adds to the charm. For some, that's probably a reason to dislike it. It certainly doesn't work as well for "Rock the Dragon", which in theory I should like for the same reason, but nope. Maybe there's a fine line, and on the extreme side over it are things like the rap monstrosity they made for the 4kids (?) One Piece dub. I'm still in therapy to this day.

All of them are awesome, but I don't have any doubt that Dan Dan is the number one.
