I think it's just in retailers. If we get a demo before the game's release, though, I am going to be aaaaaall over that.

Man this game looks awesome. I haven't bought a DBZ game since budokai 3 and that was over 10 years, but xenoverse will be a day one buy for me.

The game looks great! Trunks' sword moves look super fluid.

I'm super hyped for this game, looks to be incredible. For those of you who aren't crazy about the way transformations work, I think it will grow on you. It seems like that is just gives us more options for playing styles which is dope IMO.

I think we're going to get even more depth than we even realize right now; at least I hope so.

I don't know if this has been discussed before, but do you guys think Xenoverse will have a lot of mods over time? With the PC version of Sonic Generations a few years back, people were able to create new levels and even add different characters. Do you think we'll get that here? I'd be really psyched if we found out a certain character wasn't in the game but fans were able to create him/her themselves. Any thoughts?

The one thing I want the most to be modded is character name text. "Freeza" and "Mr. Satan" can finally be in the NA release of a DBZ game.

I hadn't even thought of that! That would be awesome if we could have all the dubisms removed. Steam says it includes the Japanese voices, but the English subtitles are based on the English voice right? It would be nice to see even small things fixed.

As far as mods go, I'm only in for stage mods, gameplay mods and character mods. Modding names? If you're that nitpicky then by all means, but that's useless to me.

I hadn't though of that either. It sounds cool, if such a thing is possible. I doubt I'd use such a mod unless it was reaaaally easy to install, though.

I remember when Naruto Full Burst was released on Steam the first mods were colour swaps and other really minor graphical details. So if Dimps doesn't allow us to change the colour of certain armours in-game, it shouldn't be completely impossible to do it through modding. I think a simple Majin charm for the forehead is also possible to mod in.

I don't believe there will be Player Crafted mods for the game. It's not gonna be like Skyrim or a number of FPS games. And it's not like some MMO's that leak some of the creation kits for players to re-skin things in game. The most we can look forward to is DLC content. However earlier DBZ games have been modded by the player community and has come with some...silly results. So I guess it's possible some people could mod the game, but it'd be entirely cosmetic as I doubt anyone could invent other fusions, especially with Created Characters.

None of the Naruto games had modding kits released and they get mods. Nothing huge, but I have seen moveset edits.

Yeah, we get the Japanese voice over, but that doesn't change the translated text for dialogue or the name of the characters in the character select or during battles. I've done some not-so-straight-forward installation of mods in some games and it can be a little tricky, but to me, something like that is worth it. That "I" in the Funi spelling of Freeza really gets under my skin. >.>

Another subject. While we know that Androids won't be added as a Race, because the essential visual representation of them is already available via Earthlings and Arcosians/Freeza-race, there are still other probabilities. So long as there can be reason for them to be added with their own stat differences from the 5 starter races.

People before have said a Demon Race. Which can be said as Mazoku or Maohshin, who could be considered opposites to the Kaioshin. Perhaps even a Kaioshin race, though not like King Kai's roll-poly type, more like the saikou-kaioshin, the Supreme Kai's. We see in the trailer that the wish made to Shenron for a warrior strong enough to defend Time is a rather broad one, hence our Created Characters. It's broader than we know, because it can apply to any number of infinite universes and probabilities. So there will always exist the probability of a Demon, a Kaio or even Atom Ant would be the one who could defend Time from Towa and Mira.

As such, there's the possibility of other races being added as DLC, so long as they fit within the Dragon Ball universe. Though right now I am going to shoot down any Beast-Type race, because that would be impossible to do without extreme limitations. We know beast-humans are a thing in DBZ. I mean we have Oolong, Puar, the King, and a number of others who're all humanoid-beast folk. The problem is we'd have to include every potential variety, and that's too much work for one race.

Maohshin and Kaioshin seem like a higher probability and easier to implement.
