TFS must have had a hand in making this.
Well Taka retweeted it so I guess he hadn't have seen it. Nothing from Lani and Kaiser though...
Why Dragon Ball Consistency in something such as power levels matter!

That's adorable. Wait...is that supposed to be Bulma or Chi Chi though?

That's what I was thinking, but I couldn't tell for sure. Always nice to see more artwork of that pairing.

Hey guys! My friend who is 24 made this artwork in 2004(When they was 14). I love it so much(It's not the best IMO. I just fucking love it) and I loved it so much that I just had to color it. Being the cheap bitch that I am. I colored it using http://www.colorizephoto.com/. An online coloring tool that's cheap and doesn't really color unless it's VERY detailed or it's the outline of the image. I know it's not the best colouring but I would love for opinions.

Can't seem to get just the picture to link here, but this animation is both awesome and adorable.

That..was pretty damn fluid.

Explain this juicy bit of nightmare fuel though.

Why can't the Dragon Ball franchise get animation this fluid? :problem:

BTW that was amazingly badass and cute. Gotta love #18 and Krillin.

Sometime ago I sketched this out.

Image

Now comes the final version

Image

(the high res will feature on my deviant account)

I actually debated whever the planet the DBM tournament is held on has an atmosphere, in my head I said why not, you can have the right environmental conditions yet still have an uninhabitable planet, which makes sense to me because of stadium evacuation etc. Then again they have a teleporter system, not that it has EVER worked!

Please accept this artwork as tribute (as well as sparing my world) Lord Beerus!

Neat art, TheBritWriter! Correct me if I'm wrong, but is Vegetto's arm and shoulder turning into sand there? If so, is that a reference to what a lot of people thought was one of his powers from the first BOG trailer (where the egg turns into sand)?

It is, I thought I make that into a distinctive finishing move as opposed to a standard beam/death ball esque attack, plus I liked the sand gimmick, it's not a power he uses on others, but it was done so casually with no effort, or care, the pic has a big intention of Beerus being very dismissive of the 'ultimate fusion' and the one sidedness of the fight.

heh!

Thanks, but there are people I know who are light years ahead of me when it comes to this stuff, but its something I enjoy when I have the time. I do owe it to a friend who told me to revive my shot at art (I was too happy doing the opposite and see how other people do my ideas, but over time of being more confident I started on this. There is a ton of scraps though that will not see the light of the internet! However I don't have a job in art or anything like that. its too tough a career to crack into. So this is hobby.

Oh, and life drawing classes help. (Yes it involves drawing naked people, but that's not the point!)

Wow, that animation for that looks amazing! If only more Dragon Ball stuff had that kind of fluidity. ^^;

While not DBZ in as itself, it is definitely inspired by it through its ki-like blasts and flying through the air.

It's by a 19 year old kid from China :O

Here's a GIF example of the animation
