Discussion regarding the entirety of the franchise in a general (meta) sense, including such aspects as: production, trends, merchandise, fan culture, and more.
There are rumors going around that Akira Toriyama is planning the Dragon Ball Z manga continuation and it follows the story line set after the movie "Battle of Gods" which means that the DBZ multiverse would get explored.
The Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods movie rekindled the hopes of DBZ fans that the most recognizable anime/manga series of all time would be continued and if the reports are true, then we would get to see the Dragon Ball Z manga continuation!
According to JapNation AniManga, The Dragon Ball Z manga continuation would follow after the end of Battle of Gods and it would explore the "Super Saiyan God" mythos as well as the roles of the "gods of destruction" as it was revealed in the movie that there are other universes with their own god of destruction.
JapNation AniManga also reported that the Dragon Ball Z manga continuation would go back to its roots as an "adventure" story similar to the original series compared to the DBZ manga that focused too much on the battles and the "bad guy of the week" format. The story is rumored to be Goku, under the training of Whis and Bills would travel the DBZ multiverse in order to learn more about the "Super Saiyan God" form and why it exists. Of course, it is also rumored that the "main bad guy" of the manga would be the most powerful god of destruction who also happens to be THE Super Saiyan God.
However it should be noted that Akira Toriyama himself hasn't confirmed the Dragon Ball Z manga continuation but with the fans asking for him to continue the manga as well as Toriyama himself delving more into the DBZ mythos by revealing Goku's mother, it could happen that the Dragon Ball Z manga continuation announcement would come.
English is not my first language!
I'm still waiting for Dragon Ball in Super...
I discovered this a while back (September or October last year, I believe), and I have zero belief in it, given how content Toriyama-sensei is with simply writing the scripts for Dragon Ball movies, and how Ginga Patrol Jako was hinted to be the last manga he works on by himself (though, that isn't to say he couldn't simply collaborate with someone to make it happen).
"Reign supreme? In your dreams; you'll never make me bow.
Kick my ass? I'm world-class and Super Saiyan now."

Probably not real. I'd read it if it were, because adventure and more ssjg Gokû I am definitely up for, but Toriyama is done outside of these movies as far as I know.

That is absolutely terrible fanart. So many issues with proportions, overall form and just... everything. I can't believe this is fooling people.

I don't believe any Dragon Ball news that isn't on Kanzenshuu.
"Kenshi is sitting down right now drawing his mutated spaghetti monsters thinking he's the shit..."--Neptune Kai "90% of you here don't even know what you're talking about (there are a few that do). But the things you say about these releases are nonsense and just plain dumb. Like you Metalwario64"--final_flash
I don't get why people think Freeza will become good at the end? He's Goku #1 villain, I don't think Toriyama would ever make Freeza become good. Not to mention fans everywhere would be angry since it feels out of character for it to happen. It would be like if The Joker became friends with Batman in the next Batman movie.
That rumor is absolute nonsense, but I think something like that is way more plausible now than ever before. I could see him writing more one-offs, but at this point I really don't believe Toriyama has any interest in committing to a full series.

Any time you a hear a story that Toriyama is planning a full manga sequel, especially from a site you've never heard of, you should just disregard it entirely.
And c'mon man, the story was posted nearly 8 months ago.

Yes, it's real.
...Huh?
That's a pretty damn big deal. Why hasn't this been officially reported yet on Kanzenshuu if this is indeed true?
With BOG, there was (or were?) preview screening(s) that took place a couple of weeks in advance of the film's nationwide theatrical release and this is also meant to be the case with this film, so Japan will still get it first in some capacity. But either way, it is a pretty massive deal for Chile.
As for Kanzenshuu reporting it, it seems like they've been particularly busy lately and given the fact that they have full-time jobs, families, etc. they're not gonna see or get time to write up about everything. They're probably aware of it, but you can hit them up more directly on Twitter in case they haven't By the way, you'd have to be absolutely insane to try finish the Wiki in a year when there's a NEW MOVIE coming out.

Spoiler:
Akira Toriyama wrote:My policy is to try and forget things once they’re over. Since if I don’t discard the old and focus on what’s new, I’ll overload my brain capacity. I still haven’t lived down going, “Who the heck is Tao Pai-pai?” that one time I was talking with Ei’ichiro Oda-kun. But the fact that there are still people reading the series after all this time… All I can say is; “thank you.” Really, that’s all.

Kunzait_83 wrote:And if you're upset because all this new material completely invalidates the tabletop RPG rulebook-sized statistical system and flowchart for the characters' "canonical Power Levels" that you'd been working on painstakingly for the last bunch of years now... well I don't think there's a kind, non-blunt way of saying this, but that's 100% entirely your own misguided fault for buying so deeply into all this nonsensical garbage in the first place. And that you also have IMMENSELY skewed and comically backwards priorities in what you think is most important and needed to make a good Dragon Ball story.

Yet everyone on Twitter, Facebook and Youtube is going to believe in it .
This is the struggle, especially when the hype is this high. I pretty much don't believe most of the things i hear regarding revival of f until i read it here on kanzenshuu. The best thing to do is to actually not even post and overly share the rumors or fake/doctored images because they probably just spread faster that way.
It's easy to forget how much traffic this thread probably gets when you're only looking at the posts. Is there a way to even see how many hits it has on average daily?
Is this what we're after, folks? These are the pages from V-Jump that I'm looking at, right? https://twitter.com/dbhJoho/status/557086015924355072
Not looking like anything exciting so far, but it's early days yet. There might be more.
