Discussion regarding the entirety of the franchise in a general (meta) sense, including such aspects as: production, trends, merchandise, fan culture, and more.

Goku endlessly keeps getting stronger, with Super Saiyan 3 in the manga and Super Saiyan 4 in the anime; does Super Saiyan keep getting limitlessly stronger too? Might we eventually see things such as a Super Saiyan 5…?!
Super Saiyan 2 and 3 are nothing more than powered-up variations of Super Saiyan. After the fight with Beerus, Goku realized that mastering his normal state and Super Saiyan would raise his level more and sap less strength, so I think he probably won’t become Super Saiyan 2 or 3 any more.
...but we know that he absorbed god form according to his interview in the Battle of Gods Animanga:
Want to get excited...but can't get hopes up...Gohan doing anything cool at this point is unlikely. Dat shot though...maybe there's a 0.0000000000000001% chance he becomes important somehow.
I don't predict him being in this movie anymore than he was in battle of gods. In other words things like the general scenes for example the great saiyaman bit and appearances in the party as well as a short fight scene in this case was with beerus. In other words I'm assuming he'll be in a few short general scenes and 1 short scuff or fight maybe some more fighting in the background of the main fight prolonging longer as well ( defeating 100s of henchmen for example).
Short summary is he should have maybe 1 moment to hold fighting attention and some smaller scenes here or there.
I guess the movie has an additional few weeks of promotion due to its later release date, but I'm only just realizing how much more we had for BOG at this stage. Not necessarily actual movie information, but rather the tie-in stuff. KFC was already on-board this time, two years ago. http://www.kanzenshuu.com/tag/dbz-movie-2013/page/11/

I think you're right on that, while the release date is later then the battle of gods was we still could use some more information at this point in time.

Both are aliens sent to Earth shortly after birth to escape the destruction of their homeworlds; both possess super-strength, flight, super-speed, heightened senses and the ability to cast energy blasts. But the crucial difference between them lies not only in how they view the world, but in how the world views them.
Superman is, and always has been, a symbol for truth, justice, and upstanding moral fortitude–a role model and leader as much as a fighter. The more down-to-earth Goku has no illusions about being responsible for maintaining social order, or for setting some kind of moral example for the entire world. Goku is simply a martial artist who’s devoted his life toward perfecting his fighting skills and other abilities. Though never shy about risking his life to save either one person or the entire world, he just doesn’t believe that the balance of the world rests in any way on his shoulders, and he has no need to shape any part of it in his image. Goku is an idealist, and believes that there is some good in everyone, but he is unconcerned with the big picture of the world…unless it has to do with some kind of fight. Politics, society, law and order don’t have much bearing on his life, but he’s a man who knows right from wrong.

"Watch as he goes from planet to planet across the galaxy and-!...helps people?"
"Wait. Really? Is that what it says?" "That's what the script says." "That doesn't make any sense!" "How many of these do?" "Good point."

I wish people would cite their sources so that we'd have an easier time working that out. The Facebook page that posted it doesn't have anything of the sort.

You mean Froze? That's from an old DBH opening.

I don't follow Heroes that closely, so I was unsure.
I wish there was a source posted though. I'd almost be more inclined to believe it if the qualify wasn't so good.
