If anyone's curious about the Watch Dogs chart, it's this one:
By the way, who keeps spelling Broli with two L's? Even the dubname is Broly not "Brolly".

The worst horror stories I could give you are the following. One of the projects in PTD at the time was a big update to the DSi OS. This meant we had to test everything and make sure it all worked. There was a team of 10 sad souls who had to test and make sure everything went well with the 'Clocks and Calendar' application. For a month and a half these 10 brave souls had to watch a clock and check and fiddle with a digital calendar. They came out changed people.BlazingFiddlesticks wrote:Game testing being a thankless job coupled with Nintendo of America supposedly being an awful place to work in recent years, ouch, my sympathies.voltlunok wrote:(Did testing for Nintendo as a contractor...not as glamorous a job as you think it is.)

This pretty much sums up the changes in the gaming industry as whole:Spoiler:

Nintendo's also starting to do the same to their games, commencing with Mario Party 10 which instead of normal DLC users will have to own/purchase specific Amiibo figures so that the Mario, Peach, Bowser, Yoshi, Toad and Luigi board game sets can be unlocked.Lord Beerus wrote:This pretty much sums up the changes in the gaming industry as whole:Spoiler:

http://www.nintendo.com/amiibo/line-up/#/mario_partyYour amiibo becomes a game piece in the all-new amiibo Party mode! At least one amiibo is required in order to access this mode.
Game boards vary based on the amiibo used. On the Mario board, you might encounter an event where you use a Mushroom to suddenly grow or collect coins while defeating your rivals. On the Luigi board, you may have to suck up your rivals' stars and coins using the Poltergust.
I can't wait for an Ssjg Broly.Lord Beerus wrote:Oh, God... The gaming market got greedy. Really, really, really greedy. I blame EA for exploiting the concept of DLC.dbboxkaifan wrote:Oh Dende, what the hell's happening to the gaming market.
It's gonna happen. If anything it will come after SSJG Vegeta. But it'll happen.sintzu wrote:

I don't think they're gonna make any update about local play. Primarily because it seems as though split screen won't be an option. And given the amount of freedom you have in the game I doubt split screen would be implemented because it would impede your vision with horrible camera angles.NovaSayajinGoku wrote:Has Anybody info about the "Local"-multiplayer?
I think local = only tournament
But still i hope I'm not right with my thought

If the travesty known as SSJG Broly does indeed come to pass, they better do it right -voltlunok wrote:It's gonna happen. If anything it will come after SSJG Vegeta. But it'll happen.sintzu wrote:

I wouldn't call that right...It looks like Broly should be dressed up in black with headphones blaring 'PAIN BENEATH MY SKIN!' with that hair! Also I don't look at it as a travesty. I look at it as a...inevitability! From what I know the big guy is still huge in Japan so as long as he stays that way...he is just gonna keep on par with Goku forever!KentalSSJ6 wrote:If the travesty known as SSJG Broly does indeed come to pass, they better do it right -voltlunok wrote:It's gonna happen. How would you suggest offline versus would work on Kami's Lookout without split-screen?Quebaz wrote:"Hey guys remember those days when people bought our games because they had friends and family to play with?"Lord Beerus wrote: I don't think they're gonna make any update about local play. "Hm, no? they all play online these days"
"But wouldn't you want to atleast have that option?"
"Alright fine, throw in 1 of the 20+ stages into it because we don't want to make a better camera system and limit it to 1v1 even tho 2v2 is entirely possible with these kinds of games."
They should include split screen for maps that call for it or it would take some advanced camera angling right?EA575 wrote:How would you suggest offline versus would work on Kami's Lookout without split-screen?Quebaz wrote:"Hey guys remember those days when people bought our games because they had friends and family to play with?"Lord Beerus wrote: I don't think they're gonna make any update about local play.
