Third DragonBox Diorama

I was looking through MFG today, and found a thread about the third and final diorama to come out along with the last third of the DragonBox singles. The thread was from October 5, but I didn't see another post like that here, so I figured I'd put it up. As always, the little flyer thing has new DBZ art done by Toriyama.

This diorama will feature Fat Boo, SSJ3 Goku, and Mr. Satan. Personally, I would've liked to see Oob, Vegetto, Chibi Boo, or Gotenks, but to his his own or however the saying goes.

Yea, its been brought up before. Its ugly. Goku, Buu and Satan are hideously drawn.

I think it's fresh to see a new style put into the characters, they look more living than the machine-looking square-ish late-dragonball Z characters.
But that's just me.

I like the way Buu and Mr. Satan are drawn. they look lovely

What are the names of those DVD's that are shown? I'm interested in the cover art and a basis for practicing my drawings from (I'm a fan of the way Toriyama's drawing style of the bodies is)

I think Satan is kind of decent- I always picture him more of a weaker version of the Macho Man Randy Savage

What? Those are totally awesome. I really like how Toriyama's style evolves and personally I think this looks better than that really awkward thing he had going late Freeza early Cell saga. Ugh. I don't see how this is hideously drawn except that it's not what we're used to.

I like how Toriyama's newstyle seems more well rounded & proportionate. It's like an inclagmation of all his work combined.

I think the art is very nice, but I've seen some better ones.

Now that I look at the scan, is Trunks' hair blue in the second diorama?

Well, it's the final for the Dragon Ball Z series and for the Dragon Ball Z Dragon Box single releases, anyways.

He looks more human, and not having a super-bulk doesn't mean that you're anorectic.
In fact, Goku shouldn't have had such a bulk when training martial arts: by that training you gain very strong and slim muscles, not the bulk of Brolly.

Well, hey, Goku does eat more than the average human...and probably the average Saiyan. One would think that'd create a slight mass in muscles as he continued training. Even when Goku was little, while trained to be as tough as steel, he still had the chubbiest little belly.

I'm very sure that it is. Just look at it, you can't help but get that Toriyama vibe from it.

I'am pretty sure its Akira Toriyama. It has that Kanzenban cover look to it. Iam not saying he lost his touch or anything like that, I just don't like these particular drawings. Thats it. If you like it, thats cool to.

Why make him look more Human he should look like a Super Saiyan 3.
