Actually, we've thought about it. Biggest thing holding us back is mostly time. But god knows I'd love to do a remastered, re-written version of Episode 01 at the very least.

It's easy to talk bad about it now. but S1 blew every other abridged series out of the water at its time, I remember when people were begging for episode 2 and they posted a mockup of Vegeta taking the episode and throwing it into the air and we had to wait another month. And some of the guys I used to know way back when would go on and about about episode 3...episode 4...episode 5. TFS at what you call their worst, was still better than everyone else, and should probably be used as a template of what any new abridged series should aspire to be. To re do that season would be stepping on small beginnings, and would miss the point of seeing how far an abridged series can go.

Funny thing is, I got into the online DBZ fandom back in 1999 through Trunks, by way of Meri's site. Back then, there was a level of anticipation as to how he would be handled in the dub.

Agreed. I think they also have a wider variety in their voices when portraying the characters. That's just me though. I haven't seen Yu-Gi-Oh TAS for a long while.

I always thought maybe one day we'd have Season 1 remastered. I'd guess if the ending of the Boo arc was reached, then Season 1 would probably be fixed before anything else...that or new projects I'd presume.

I don't particularly care about who has superior editing skills. I watch both to be entertained. I feel that YGOTAS is more entertaining.

I know what I'm about to say isn't related to DBZ Abridged, but one thing I would love to see make a return are FPS Let's Plays done by the team. I took the time to rewatch TFS Plays Serious Sam 3 and I loved it so much that I wish they would continue it some day. Saddens me they stopped shortly after getting the Minigun. As Lanipator demonstrates...

I don`t remember where I saw this, but I think Kai Episode 1 was KINDA a way for them to make a higher quality version of season one, without doing the entire thing over again.
