Perhaps for the same reason we can't play as the "Villainous Form" versions of the characters? Just because.

Not saying I think Demigra is unplayabe (though Towa miiiiight be), but I wouldn't exactly be shocked if they took that path. Though I would be ticked off. lol

If Towa, Mira and Demigra aren't playable, which I don't think they will be (and Goten and Kid Trunks are), that gives exactly 47 characters. I was sure that at least 16 and Dabura would be in, but if there are 47, looks like we have the list already.

i mean if you can fight against them that means they have their own specials and ultimates so why not making them playable?

Well, they haven't officially said anything about them NOT being playable. This discussion has all just been pure speculation. So no need to get worked up about it.

That actually looks a lot better that what is presented in-game to be honest. But I'm not gonna sweat over it in the slightest. It's a tiny detail.
