The Instant Trasmission Kamenhameha works only when there's a chance that Goku is able to overpower Freeza, but if it's not the case, then Freeza would survive that.MasterVampire wrote:Guys I know how Goku can beat Freeza in the new movie!
3 words: Instant Transmission Kamehameha.
Freeza unlike Cell and Buu and a lot of other BS enemies does NOT have regeneration.
Since being dead from their last fight Freeza would have no knowledge of Goku possessing the Instant Transmission technique.
In my mind it would play out exactly how it was with Cell: Goku seems desperate and Freeza is acting all cocky. Goku then flies up into the sky and prepares his Kamehameha. Freeza doubts that Goku will go through with it since it will destroy the planet. Goku however puts all his energy into it and makes his move with his Instant Transmission catching Freeza off guard like just like with Cell and completely destroys him.
And with Freeza not having any regeneration abilities he is finished.

It almost worked on Cell who was stronger than Goku except that Cell was able to regenerate from it and live which Freeza can't.Low Tone G wrote:The Instant Trasmission Kamenhameha works only when there's a chance that Goku is able to overpower Freeza, but if it's not the case, then Freeza would survive that.MasterVampire wrote:Guys I know how Goku can beat Freeza in the new movie!

Goku won't be the one who defeats Frieza,it'll be Vegeta and my reasons to why are on the previous pages.MasterVampire wrote:Guys I know how Goku can beat Freeza in the new movie!
I hope they go for an R rating and have him rip Frieza's head off then take a piss on his face then hang the body on capsule corp.

Re: Official On-Going DBZ 2015 Movie Thread: "Fukkatsu no F"
Just realized the scene in the trailer with all the henchmen is kinda like a throwback to the Bardock Special...except in the Bardock Special he was knocking them all away by himself, in this movie we got everyone jumping in. Could make for some fun and chaotic moments, but Freeza's henchmen surely must've been doing some serious powering-up to warrant the attentions of the whole gang. Maybe Freeza enforced his new training regime on the whole army? I have mental pictures of those scenes from King-Size Homer where everyone's doing exercises outside the plant with Mr. Burns.

It says you're temporarily banned
Also come on, as funny as that would be, there's no way that's happening

The only plothole in this series that bugs me. His core was destroyed so Goku killed him there.MasterVampire wrote: It almost worked on Cell who was stronger than Goku except that Cell was able to regenerate from it.
Some dubs changed that line. But he could only regenerate while the core in his head wasn't destroyed.
A world without Dragon Ball is just boring.

Cell's head getting destroyed does not always equate to Cell's nucleus getting destroyed.FortuneSSJ wrote:The only plothole in this series that bugs me. His core was destroyed so Goku killed him there.

Yes it does. The nucleus is in his head. The head being destroyed = no more regeneration.dbgtFO wrote:Cell's head getting destroyed does not always equate to Cell's nucleus getting destroyed.
Like I said, there are dubs that changed that and say they need to destroy every cell in his body.
But the manga, original version and other dubs keep that line. Its a error.
Goku killed Cell without Toriyama knowing.

Awww... that scene of the instant transmission Kamehameha xDMasterVampire wrote:It almost worked on Cell who was stronger than Goku except that Cell was able to regenerate from it and live which Freeza can't.Low Tone G wrote:The Instant Trasmission Kamenhameha works only when there's a chance that Goku is able to overpower Freeza, but if it's not the case, then Freeza would survive that.MasterVampire wrote:Guys I know how Goku can beat Freeza in the new movie!

I always wondered why everyone was worried about Goku destroying earth?, why did Cell didn't stopped him with a punch, kick or whatever he could but stayed as shocked as everyone while the kamehameha was slowly being created?...

Wait, do we know bra isn't going to be in the new movie? i have seen a few comments about her not being in it, coupled with questions about Goten and Trunks regarding their height.FortuneSSJ wrote:Well maybe Toriyama forgot Bra exists...
But seriously, if he wants to keep doing movies is about time to review his own series. He doesn't need to read everything just the basic stuff to make the plot work.
Re: Official On-Going DBZ 2015 Movie Thread: "Fukkatsu no F"
It doesn't, otherwise Cell coming back from his self-destruct is also a plothole, since his head was also destroyed then.FortuneSSJ wrote:Yes it does. The nucleus is in his head. Again, destroying the head does not mean absolutely every part of his head and most importantly, his nucleus, was also destroyed.
Re: Official On-Going DBZ 2015 Movie Thread: "Fukkatsu no F"
Cell's explosion did not destroy every single part but the Kame Hame Ha destroyed the complete upper half. Even if there was something left Cell did not regenerate from it as he came out of the lower part again. I don't believe the core randomly fell into his lower part.dbgtFO wrote:It doesn't, otherwise Cell coming back from his self-destruct is also a plothole, since his head was also destroyed then.FortuneSSJ wrote:Yes it does. Its a plothole no matter how you look at it.

There's no confirmation so far. Ah, understood.
I really do think February is gonna answer some questions, if only because there isn't much time left. If you make the start date the day of the first prescreening, then they only have two months.
On hiatus.

Pilaf, Shuu and Mai shall return! I hope the Mai and Trunks stuff isn't ignored.
Also, the pictures in the article are broken!

Had that issue with quite a few articles as of late.JulieYBM wrote:

On topic - I'm not sure how I feel about the Pilaf gang returning. For Battle of Gods, It was an unexpected dose of nostalgia for a film that was steeped in fan service. As much as I adored their inclusion, I don't think I'm that interested in seeing them take another focal role. Hopefully it's just a little cameo at the start of the film before things slip back into terror with Freeza's return.
I would hate to see a Freeza story with the same tone as Battle of Gods.
