Yes, that's why I love the dubs of Cowboy Bebop/Gungrave/Fruits Basket/Wolfs Rain/etc...

Let's not be dicks here. I said for DB/Z/GT, there's no need to change anything. A good dub typically doesn't go so far off the original material as FUNi did in this case, which as noted before, they don't do with other properties. Funny, isn't it?

Anywho, my last word in this thread will be that of a question. Was original DB saturated/filtered/jar-jared? I'm pretty sure movie 2 and the 10th anniversary feature were, but the series itself looks very close to the origin masters IMO. FUNi kept the original music for that series, I don't see why they would bother altering the color scheme.

Can I make a suggestion ?

Why doesn't someone with the DragonBox and with FUNimation DVDs, rip small clips from an episode with high quality (the same among both episodes), preferably during a fight between Super Saiya-jins ? It would be perfect to exploit both encodes at quick speed, and noticed the details of the aura of a Super Saiya-jin, as well as the colour of the eyes (for saturation purposes).

The real difference in what you & I did was that I found a post that was meaningful enough to reply to. You however in an attempt to look like the reasonable one tried to tell me what my intentions were when infact yo knew you were just being a dickhead.

It's not a bad suggestion, but an encode of anything is going to be inferior to actually watching on the tv(which, really is how a dvd is meant to be viewed). Just about any encodes suffers from some amount of pixializations and other oddities, so that's not going to give us the best possible presentation of either versions.

I suggest you take a long hard look at yourself & learn to debate proporly. Remember, opinions are like assholes, everyone has one & your is no better than anyone elses.
