All these scans with Freeza look the same to me.
A world without Dragon Ball is just boring.

I wish they'd show us Gokû or Vegeta's character art for F from Toriyama like they did with Gohan and Kuririn. Those at least must be done. Unless they're saving them for next month's VJump.

I know. It's so sad. ( ; u ; )FortuneSSJ wrote:Next month...Its always next month.
Waiting for BOG was not this sad.
At least with only two months to go the odds are in our favor now.
They can't release everything in March. And thanks to the preview screenings March 30th, we'll know everything by April.

Sweet Jesus. That is awful. If FnF is gonna have CGI, it better look at least decent.FortuneSSJ wrote:

This is literally the only time they used CG for the characters, it was really weird.Lord Beerus wrote:Sweet Jesus. That is awful. If FnF is gonna have CGI, it better look at least decent.FortuneSSJ wrote:

Would not be surprised. So disillusioned with the idea of plot updates at this point.
Re: cgi
Depends who does it and what budget in terms of how it'll look.
Sailor Moon Crystal's looks bad, Precure's can be good and has been for the most part.
I don't want any cgi. If it has to happen, the higher quality like in the Precure ED's is serviceable.

It isn't horrible looking main characters yet like in BOG, but we already have GCI in the trailer for the horde of Freeza Soldiers.

Yes, the gif is sped up compared to the actual scene. It's horrendous.Retan wrote:Is this sped up or am I just seeing things... again?Lord Beerus wrote:Sweet Jesus. That is awful. We can only hope there will be nothing like this in FnF. It's so noticeable.

HaCha's second cgi ED for comparison: http://youtu.be/5_08HTTM_aA
Toei can cgi decently when it wants(Precure), but I see no need to cgi at all with F, not with full characters at least.

Re: Official On-Going DBZ 2015 Movie Thread: "Fukkatsu no F"
Slight edit: Its not that DB = serious business, its that after a certain point DB grew up or evolved from the light hearted tone into the half serious half humor z-tone the series naturally matured into. Just because the series started off light hearted gag like doesn't mean it stayed that way. Toriyama made the characters and the setting grow up when the Piccolo Daimao arc happened, the 22nd Budokai arc was the transitional arc into that. I don' mind humor, but I prefer Toriyama's humor to progress and continue to evolved, not regress and move backwards.FortuneSSJ wrote:A lot of people think Dragon Ball = Serious business, Violence and Blood.Valerius Dover wrote:Where does all this hate for the Pilaf Gang come from? Some people just care about DBZ not DB.
Pilaf trio not being the most interesting characters don't help either.

Well that was as painful and awful a thing as I've ever seen. Toei stick to 2D animation!!

Re: Official On-Going DBZ 2015 Movie Thread: "Fukkatsu no F"
So is this movie being released in IMAX? Battle of Gods was, infact I think it was the first Japanese movie to be released in IMAX but I haven't heard anything about this one. I know it's in 3D unlike the other one.
It'd be good if it was as anything to bring in more money for it is a good thing.
Does this movie have any competition when it releases? It comes out Golden Week right? Hopefully it'll mean the movie will open higher than the last one.
If we wan't another movie we gotta hope this movie is at least as successful as Battle of Gods.

I'm sure F's ED won't be a cgi of its main characters dancing at least. I mean, I'd hope not. Strange things happen.Retan wrote:Chuquita wrote:HaCha's second cgi ED for comparison: http://youtu.be/5_08HTTM_aA

Yeah it's definitely going to have competition (Can't remember what though) but golden week pretty much sound like movie week over there, so we can hope people will see it as well, and it will still do great.

LoL can totally imagine the Pilaf gang dancing to Clover Z or whatever there called, in Toei 3d animation, while Goku and Vegeta fight Freeza in the background; no less.
Re: Official On-Going DBZ 2015 Movie Thread: "Fukkatsu no F"
I just looked up the upcoming releases for Japan on IMDB.
Fast and Furious 7 comes out April 17th and then there's a Detective Conan movie coming out on the 18th, the same day as DBZ. Cinderella comes out a week later.
So whereas Battle of Gods was #1 for 3 weeks running this one will be lucky to make #1 at all.
