No, Buuuub doesn't bother me (at all) . It's was just apart of the joke that Anju is really Buu, and therefore a man. I know that Buu's not a man or woman but we can't deny that his physique, voice, and demeanor has more characteristic of a male than a female.

But the same can be said for so many other Dragon Ball characters. Name any villain and it will be likely said character never showed any interest in the opposite sex. Does this mean characters like say Nappa, Tullece, Recoome or Broly are non-sexual? I'm fairly certain a character like Nappa isn't homosexual, asexual or antisexual, it's just we never see any insights into those sort of characters psyche beyond fighting and their most basic motives. And in the end a LOT of the alien races could be asexual for all we know.

Going by DBO, Boo could love, but there's no evidence that it is true love and not just something he read in a book and did for the lulz. The initial Boo is one of a kind so he cannot possibly be sexually attracted to anyone out-of-a-box, but I suppose it can change once he starts absorbing people.
