This doesn't make sense. In Dragon Ball GT Liang Xing Long has stated that he can't transform after being asked by Pan.

Nothing makes sense in Heroes. Heroes takes place in a different universe, anything is possible.

This is why fans are always throwing around terms like 'canon'. GT itself is generally considered non-canon so it makes this stuff look all the more silly. The longer this game has been going on the more it's been starting to resemble some crazy fanfiction.

And just my cup of tea. If they ever localize this game for the NA market, I am per-ordering it day one. At best right now, we can hope that some of these what-ifs will be made as secret or dlc characters for xenoverse seeing as the games have the same developers.

Not SSJ5. They have creative freedom to a degree, but SSJ5 is borderline ridiculous.

I'm still under the impression that DIMPS has free reign with Heroes though. That green oozaru Brolli--I can't imagine they would've gotten permission from Toriyama to do that. He battled Yamamuro over ssjg, I'd imagine this would've been rejected too.

He did, but some people don't care and think the other powers at be will step on his toes by creating it anyway in another medium while he's still involved with the franchise. Which I disagree with. After BOG, while Toriyama is still giving them content from the author, I'm almost certain that actual new Saiyan forms will be left up to him in order to not upset him or the fans.

I wouldn't think he really cared about Heroes' Super Ozaru Broli. It isn't a new transformation or anything, and it's not a character he really cares anything about either (see how he ignores Coola in all the recent interviews about Freeza's family). I can't see why he wouldn't just let them design it however they wanted, even if they did have to ask him for permission:

"We want to give the movie character Broli the golden Ozaru and Super Saiyan 4 transformations from GT."
"Oh, GT? I didn't make that one right? It's fine, do as you like. You know that content better than I do."

I don't think they are going to go so left far field as to invent new SSJ forms. They are are merely adding existing SSJ and Ozaru forms to characters who never had or showed them. SSJ4 is the border, it and anything under it is fair game, so we are more likely to get SSJ4 Gotenks or Gohan than we are to get SSJ5 anything.

They created Golden Ozaru Broly,SSJ4 Broly,Golden Ozaru Gogeta. Why not SSJ5?

I think he isn't interested in new super saiyan form anymore. That's why he doesn't let Goku go super saiyan in the next movie,only stay at his base.

Toyble isn't allowed to do whatever he wants. He has an editor and restrictions placed on him by the license holders.

After reading all the effort it takes to go through getting their approval on stuff like the Towa/Demigra controlled characters Xenoverse, as well as some DBO developer blog posts that need to be translated once my fiance has the time, I'm surprised anything ever get's accomplished. An entirely new Saiyan transformation is likely to be even worse than turning a character's eyes red.

Well Adult Gotenks is based on a character that almost didn't happen then they could do SSj5. SSj5 was mention by Vegeta in GT.

Those two things aren't the same. Bluma mentioned Vegeta might even be able to reach SS5; it's speculation. We've seen Gotenks before and know he exists, just not as an adult. Before heroes, GT Gotenks would be more akin to Kattatsu. We know he existed because Piccolo/Kami is his son, but was never shown with a design.

They should do Super Saiyan 5 because "Let's just draw these people, but they're blonde now" has been embarrassingly, stupidly successful and SSJ5 would be way more visually interesting.

I second this, even though it only applies to the the offical/Heroes/whatever else that's deemed "canon" and not all the stuff fans came up with.
