Need for Rebellion
Hi guys.
The origin of this video came a couple of months ago (August 2006). I wanted to make a new video to further improve my skills, though I had a lack of ideas on where to go next. Therefore, I decided to go for a video focusing on a certain character. After an attempt at a trailer music video, I decided to try a video using one of Dragon Ball's most favorable characters...Vegeta.
Simply, before the Majin Buu arc, Vegeta was a lone wolf. He didn't need anyone (He told himself such, yet he needed Bulma and her parents for the gravity machine =D ), his sole purpose in life was to prove the might of the near-extinct Saiyan Race (and to defeat Goku in battle). I wanted to showcase him during this time period (In other words, during the Android Arc), as well as his time as Majin Vegeta, when his mindset was reverted to when he first came on Earth.
This video took me nearly 2 months to complete. Mostly I was working on the weekends, and of course, the trusty computer DOES have limitations. =D. But I had fun working on this project, and I hope you enjoy it.

Good Video. I have one question that is a bit off topic.. What does the EX mean? Is it 1337 lingo or just something cool to throw in?

You can call me Rick because I'm not actually Piccolo.
I missed out on all of the DB Movie fun, huh?
Point blank: it's gonna suck if you want it to. Personally, I'm seeing it as a comedy.

It's a name from 2004, way before I knew of VegettoEX's name (or Daizex for that matter). I used it from a friend who had a equally cool name (spectra darkness ex or something) since I thought the EX was pretty darn cool. But yes, I accept Kaboom's answer =)
Yeah, DB Arena has some sucky clips. I tried staying away from Namek episodes, as they are REALLY sucky =P
Well anyways, thanks for your thoughts and comments, and here's hoping for more! Tell your friends! (Not that it's good enough to earn word of mouth delivery).
=)
Note to self: Must buy a DVD drive. It just sounds cool. I really wish you could find other sources for your videos. It really kills the quality in some parts.

Well, not to keep in suspense, so, to detail out what's in my view in regards to your AMV...
I find that the chosen theme follows the mood and is good ode to the sequences in the sense of the term, working well at every turn, and that while I can appreciate the song in full I'm not anyplace close to a tremendous fan of said song (again, emanating from opinion, to each his own - I wouldn't chalk it up to a brief lapse in judgment if that sounds less acrid). But by association, I'm not in question in regards to the chosen clips and I find you did an excellent job duly syncing-them up (the homage from the 1st Goku vs. Vegeta bout to the 2nd SSj2 Goku vs. SSj2 Majin Vegeta battle was also unendingly cool
).
And the quality speaks volumes and bounds for me - though it outstrips the theme by a huge amount, which stems from opinion.... the quality the video is quite awesome and DVD-quality, whereas it trumps YouTube by miles at every step by comparison in that regard. Again, I reiterate - something I appreciate in full.
In summation: the stock footage the video was grounds under was very, very good, to further the notion and belief. So, as an overall, the verdict - 9/10. Outside of the theme, I really enjoyed it.
And that's more than room enough for me to look forward to your future AMVs. Again, good work.
