Indeed. I just checked the list of characters in the Japanese version. Nobody is missing, either playable or support.

The game is coming out in summer 2015 and the only clear difference between the PS3 and the PS4 version is that the PS4 version will look shinier on a big TV.

The Anison Song version, which probably won't be released overseas, does. You can change the BGM though, so you can just put it in yourself.

I'm glad that no one got cut, but I would have liked it if they added a couple of new characters in there.
Still, at least no one was cut. That's good enough on its own.

I wish they cut out that Taro Yamada guy. That "thing" disgusts me and creeps me out.

Same journalist that claimed the game's roster might have omissions in the west now says it won't.

Other than PS4, I'm not sure what the + is all about. At least it's not J-Stars Victory VS-. :lol:

So will Namco Bandai America will have both version be at retail in the US or only the PS4 be a retail release while the PS3 version is a digital downloaded title. Namco Bandai America has recently made the Godzilla game on the PS3 a digital downloadable title in the US while the PS4 version can be bought at stores. This pissed off a lot of people who pre-order the PS3 version.

There are three versions of J-Stars Victory VS+.

Nothing has been announced with regards to how the game will be released in North America. Given J-Stars has previously been confirmed to be subtitle-only, I wouldn't be surprised if it's a PSN-exclusive on all platforms. I can also see them perhaps doing Gamestop/Amazon limited physical runs for PS3/Vita and a general release on PS4.

As per the journalist's post, the game still has the new arcade mode and a few balance adjustments.

Those additions are the sort of thing you'd get in a patch, not worthy of a "+" IMO.

I don't know, I guess Namco Bandai decided to have it be a digital title. A lot of people on Namco Bandai's page were pretty pissed about it saying that they don't want to pay $60 for the PS4 version when the PS3 version is cheaper. I like to have physical copies of my games since it makes my collection feel special. I hope J-Stars Victory VS+ will get a physical retail release in the US.
