Haha... I hope we haven't seen the last of Polite Goku.
Seconded! *u*
It was so wonderful; he was struggling but he tried his hardest and it came out so endearing, imo. =u=
I'm hoping since we have Beerus along for the ride this time we could get some more "Gokû desu".

So I'm betting while Bulmas in the battle, and I'm guessing in a Mech suit, which will probably be computer animated.

That she tries to take on Freeza (After beating some lowly bad guys)

and he takes her to school, and ticks off Vegeta and boom that's how he gets back in her good graces.

What?

I am trying to wrap my head around what wish they could have possibly made. Does the dragon have the power to alter time/history? If they asked to revive Freeza, that's just one wish but that alone wouldn't change everything. What more could they have wished for? If Freeza had to "train" to be able to fight them, how long ago was this wish even made?

There have been various product tie-ins since the movie was announced, but they're all using the Dragon Ball Kai branding instead of the movie's. The latest thing is "Fit's"-brand chewing gum from Lotte.
So they're just promoting Dragon Ball in general as the movie nears release rather the movie specifically? I can't see as how that would be as effective a marketing strategy. The last movie had collaboration s with KFC.
I suppose there's still plenty of time for all that though.
I hope it doesn't take a step back in the marketing though.

Marketing is super-important; as is merchandizing. I'm still sad we haven't seen any vaguely-spoilerific WCF figures for this movie yet.

That unusually-cheerful Vegeta figure and the wrong-color-pallet Pilaf were the source of so much speculation back during BOG.
Is there really a spoiler big enough where they have to put off on revealing tie-in stuff?
Or is stuff just not ready yet in general. ^^;
Edit: Weekly Jump TOC list just came out. Just the text so far, no scan. Chances for new info in next week's issue still exist, but no promises either way.

2015 #13 will have an entry ticket for the preview screening contest, so if anything, that seems the most likely time for more movie news.
Of course, it'll come out two days after the April issue of
V-Jump, so it may not tell us anything we don't already know by then….

Freeza wasn't
totally exempt from silliness or funny interactions.

Huh, has this been confirmed?
At some convention they showed a clip that has Goku telling Freeza that he doesn't need the Super saiyan form anymore.
Yeah, but that's not the same thing as confirm he won't show up in SSJ.

No because there was this too.
But at the same time he did blow up children, ram his horns through Krillin's stomach, stomp on a kids head, choked and beat Vegeta. All things that you surely won't be seeing in this movie as the series doesn't seem to want to go back to those more violent days unfortunately.
I bet they'll tone his ruthlessness right down in this movie.

I loved that rare moment of even the mighty frieza being uncomfortable in this sort of gag shot and I really picked up on that scene the last time I did a rewatch, 'twas a good time.

That picture was already in my previous post.
And pretty much all the villains have done that sort of thing. Vegeta and Nappa were mass murderers, Buu exterminated (nearly) the entire human race, but not before eating a lot of them. Recoom, probably one of the most comic villains of the series, snapped Gohan's neck in what was one of the most brutal scenes of the show. Then you've got Cell, and the androids. Cell drained the life out of people until they were withered husks, and 17 even squeezed a guys head until it popped off. They all did pretty messed up shit, but they also were involved in some silly moments, too. And there many more were moments of comic relief all around the horrible stuff, weather they directly involved the villains or not.

There has been an image floating around of Tights's character design. I'm assuming it's fake? Since nobody here has been talking about it.

Already debunked
several pages back, which is why no-one's talking about it.

Oh, fair enough.
I just asked because it seemed like something Toriyama could do. I normally ignore any "leaked" pictures if they're not posted here.

It's actually about an encore screening of BOG in theatres to celebrate the extended edition's home release, rather than info about the release itself- at least that's what I understand from Google Translate.

Looks like Ryusei Nakao is a guest speaker as well. No doubt there'll be some
F discussion going on.
Got'cha, saw 'Special Edition' and kinda assumed, my bad, haha!

17 popped a head off? Are you confusing him for Gero?

Yeah but I'm saying that you won't be seeing that king of violence and mass murder again. Either Toei or Toriyama or both have seemingly lost the balls to do so.
The last movie wasn't even remotely violent though understandable as Beerus wasn't evil. Frieza is but we still more than likely won't get any violent scenes. Its becoming more kid friendly now which is a shame.

...someone's never read Dragon Ball.
