Official On-Going DBZ 2015 Movie Thread: "Resurrection 'F'"
Re: Official On-Going DBZ 2015 Movie Thread: "Fukkatsu no F"
There will likely be a Bulma later this year. WCF did at least three BOG tie-in lines.
If the blue ssjg theory (so black clothes because they'd look better with blue hair than all blue clothes would) is a red herring, those clothes could just be a shout out. I mean, look at Kuririn, Toriyama made him bald again! He looks the same as he did in the Freeza arc now.
I hope the manga chapter next week solves all these missing characters cases.
Or at least some of them. Too many battle characters missing for me not to be curious.

Hmm, 4DX... I wonder what kind of real-life effect they could apply to a Dragon Ball movie.
They definitely need to have a scene in the movie where the characters are stuffing their faces and the smell of food would come out of the seat or something. Maybe Beerus could finally get his pudding and the audience would be able to smell something sweet.
Other than that they could have blasts of air and the seat could shake whenever they clash and create shockwaves. Perhaps when someone get's kicked into the lake a bit of water would splash you. If they were travelling around via flight maybe have a little wind blow in your face.
Also looking at the poster the setting already looks misty so they could release a mist into the theatre at the same time they were in that location.

Just a little off topic here...It is just me or Gohan's hair is almost identical to Pan?

English is not my main language. Sorry if I make a mistake.

Not sure if Toriyama intentionally made his hair like that, but I'm now completely fine with Gohan's new hairstyle.

Its ironic how Tenshinhan his getting cool oufits now, when he mostly just got bad ones back then.
If they don't grow up, they aren't following Goku's aging patterns. They offically caught Ash Ketchum syndrome.
Goku didn't stop aging for 5 years. If the movie takes place 3 years after BOG, it means we are 2 years away from EOZ where they are teens.singsing wrote:If Goten and Trunks are following Goku's aging patterns, there wouldn't even be anything wrong with them still looking like kids.

What? BOG took place in AGE 778. If this movie takes place 3 years later, that places it in AGE 781. Trunks would be 15 and Goten would be 14 (depending on birthdays and film events). Placing them still perfectly within the range of Saiyan growth patterns as described by Jaco. Goku's height has been almost the exact same from the age of 3 all the way to at least 15; we only see him in an adult body when he's 18.FortuneSSJ wrote:Goku didn't stop aging for 5 years. The more I compare that new Gokû drawing to the Gohan one, the more I think that's Toyotaro's artwork for Gokû.
Not 100% sure though.

If you're going to compare it to anything, you should probably do so with another recent Goku. It's God, but that's pretty much all we got. xD

Gohan had this kind of hair style before.EA575 wrote:Not sure if Toriyama intentionally made his hair like that, but I'm now completely fine with Gohan's new hairstyle.
I liked the Buu Arc Tenshinhan outfit a lot.FortuneSSJ wrote:Its ironic how Tenshinhan his getting cool oufits now, when he mostly just got bad ones back then.
And the outfit he is wearing in F haves a classic DB feel to it.

That wasn't the case with Gohan and Future Trunks, though.TheDevilsCorpse wrote:What? BOG took place in AGE 778. If this movie takes place 3 years later, that places it in AGE 781. Easy enough to say they inherited the Earthling side of whatever gene it is that determines grow in DB, while Goten and Trunks got the Saiyan side.Doctor. wrote:That wasn't the case with Gohan and Future Trunks, though.

You can get a closer look at the figures here, as well as larger, more proportionate Gohan and Piccolo figures.

It's Toyotaro's art in the VJump preview. That comparison shot in the above post convinced me.

Re: Official On-Going DBZ 2015 Movie Thread: "Fukkatsu no F"
When I initially saw it, I didn't immediately think of Toriyama as the artist, but that was only because I had his background cast images in my mind (like the really skinny armed Gohan, and not the more defined characters in his current style). So I went a step further than the comparison image and actually went back and compared the preview picture to no only the Battle of Gods drawn Goku pieces by Toriyama, but Bardock and Goku in jaco as well.
...still finding myself wobbling back and forth on the fence, as there are parts that look more like Toriyama and some that look more like Toyble.

Look closely at the ear details. in all three. What do the first two have that the other two don't? The lines normally curve inward. Those lines in that Goku pic are too angular, and don't look like how Toriyama ever drew the ear. And overall it lacks a roundness or softness that Toriyama has.
The only thing that reminds me of Toriyama is Goku being that slender...
