Cool. Did they ever show movies 4 - 11?

I thought they showed the Coola movies one time and not the rest?

I've watched 4 and 6 on CN, and taped 5. I wish they'd show some of the others I haven't seen though.

Cool. Now I'll get to watch 13 for myself and see if it's worth buying.

Good find, Carly. I may even check these out in curiosity to see if Cartoon Network did any editing (considering FUNi never released edit versions of these movies).

But you'll just be judging it based on the dub. Also consider you'd be getting a pretty damn good video-quality, stereo Japanese version with Daimao's subs. The DVD is very worth buying, IMO.

Oh yeah. I'm sure CN will just cut out a few Roshi scenes here and there as well as some blood etc as always. Then again, after seeing what was (or I guess wasn't) edited for the latest Naruto episodes, I won't be surprised if they'll be aired uncut. Though I seriously doubt the sub version will be aired .

Also, as mentioned hundred of times here, I still think Toonami should milk a little bit more out of this. I mean, they haven't even aired the Brolly and Bojack movie/s.

Cool. This way I won't have to bother renting, or buying them just to check out the English dubb version, which would be the only reason I would rent or buy them anyway. And I'm sure the Cartoon Network will be cutting out a few scenes. One scene I know for sure is when the "failed" Gogeta, in movie #12, gives Janemba the bird. That's a funny scene too.

And the Hitler/ The Dictator scene will most likely go.

Which makes me wonder how long the movie will be and how much involvement Trunks and Goten will have, since Hitler is in quite a large chunk of the movie and most of Trunks and Goten's time in this movie is spent dealing with him and his German tanks.

Of course, they could put a disclaimer at the end: "Any likeness at all whatoever to any real person or evil Germian dictator is purely coincidental; so, in short, the guy who looks like Hitler isn't Hitler, he's 'The Dictator', got it, ya little pain-in-the-ass lawyers?!"

They showed movies 1-6, and the Specials.

They'll more than likely air it uncut, because to be fairly honest, no one is going to care really.

They showed "uncut" DBZ at 7:30 a while back, and even though the little that they showed was rather tame, they showed naked gohan at 10:00... and these air at 9:30... so, there we go.

That was untill some angry mothers complained, then they went back to showing the censored dub.

Um, didn't Toonami do away with DragonBall shows after GT ended?

I missed out on all of the DB Movie fun, huh?
Point blank: it's gonna suck if you want it to. Personally, I'm seeing it as a comedy.

a couple of months back they restarted GT but only aired a couple of episodes. Then they were on the Garlic Jr. saga for a few weeks and stopped. Right now CN is airing the Andriod saga Friday nights at midnight.

Spectacular! Movie 12's always been my favorite; well one of my favorites; and even though I have the dvd I'll be sure to tune in just to see what Toonami does with it.

Movie 13....I bought the dvd sometime last week and its still wrapped. I really gotta get to watching it. ^_^;;
On hiatus.

Yay!! I've never seen 12 or 13. This is going to be awesome!
I didn't know cartoon network plays episodes on friday. That's dominant!
Cool. Thanks a million for informing us about this. :)

They're definately editing out The Dictator's mustage and Janemba's color to confuse children. :)

I remember them airing the old Movies 1-3, and I think Movies 4-6, but never 7-11. (7-11! *ahem*) It'll be cool to see them air Movies 12 and 13. I've been wondering how they edited them! :D It'd good to see that Toonami still likes Dragon Ball Z.

I'm guessing they edited out Fat Gogeta's butt and maybe even Gohan punching Freeza. Then there's the usual changing of Hell to HFIL, and Mr. Satan to... well, you know. Vegeta's dialogue, and heck, even Goku's dialogue throughout the movie is probably "brightened up" quite a bit, leaving out words such as "hell," "slaughtered," and "nightmare." Baaaah...
What's scarier than a DBZ H-game?

It's cool that's it's on, but it just takes so friggin long to get anywhere. Bulma just ID'ed Dr. Gero and I'm waiting for the arrival of Cell and that won't happen until next summer. This once a week thing is killing me. Dragonball needs to be on atleast four times a week.
