It's the face that is still getting me. Toyble has been slipping pretty far away from Toriyama's style in Victory Mission, though that could be chalked up to having to rush multiple pages on a schedule, The face on this Goku though (eyes, nose, mouth)...it looks MUCH closer to the Toriyama drawn version of God Goku, just with base form eyes, than any of Toyble's stuff has looked recently. :/

The jaw lines between the three are really similar and that throws me off. The VJump one really does seem to blend the body builds from Gokû's base form and his ssjg one--I'm ok with that.

That ear comparison on the previous page is super helpful.

There is, but it appears to be Future Trunks from the Cell arc, just minus his jacket. Vegeta and Goku look like figures from that arc too rather than from this movie.

If it's really Toyble, then he has his artwork back. He was better in his early AF days. He was good at imitating Toriyama' work.

There's only a month and a half till the advanced screenings so as much as I want a new trailer I also wouldn't mind waiting till then to know about every detail from who get to see it.

And with the way they're keeping everything a secret I doubt a new trailer will tell us much.

I don't know if that's a good idea. Of course they can't tell everything about the movie, but they need to hype the fanbase too. Trailers/Ads are needed.
Fans need to see new footage.

And all the other Z Fighters would applaude?! That would be lame. Don't mind Vegeta being the hero, but leave Sorbet and Tagoma for Piccolo and the others.
An easy win is not going to happen either. Unless Whis fights and finish Freeza à la Gogeta.

Goku's arm really bothers me in that VJump illustration. The opposite side of his elbow is especially weird looking.

That Gohan figure looks great though. It's cool to see a 3-D representation of Toriyama's current style.

It was more difficult when I was counting down to April 18th.
When they announced preview screenings, I changed it to count down to the first preview screening on March 30th.

The routine disappointment Shueisha keeps dropping every time I think there will be a plot update and there isn't is so much harder. T_T

It's why I have more hope for this Toyotaro manga than I do the chances of getting an update to the website, or getting a trailer.

So these preview screenings play the entire, completed movie? I don't know why but I assumed it was a ~30 minute thing.
