Oh, and thank goodness that Trunks killing Freeza was alluded to in the first bit of the summary. I feel like I can breathe a little sigh of relief now...

I hope this can be alluded in the move itself too. It would be cool to see Trunks killing Frieza in these new graphics, just like some moments of the original Dragon Ball that appeared in Battle of Gods.

With Freeza down, his army is in shambles. So to reorganize, Sorbet (former staff officer of the third stellar region) takes control of the army for the time being. He heads for Earth together with Tagoma, a warrior on par with the likes of Zarbon and Dodoria.

They coerce (?) the dragon balls from Pilaf and co., summon Shenlong, and wish to revive Freeza.

Freeza: “I won’t be satisfied until I’ve killed the two Super Saiyans who did this to me”

Tagoma says something he shouldn’t, and gets killed for it.

Sorbet: “Son Goku has become strong enough to defeat Majin Boo”

Freeza: “That’s more than I imagined. But I’m a prodigy, so if I bring out all of my dormant power through training, I’ll crush even the Saiyans in the blink of an eye.”

I think, more than anything, I'd just like a sense of timeline placement for this movie; both for Freeza's revival and the start of the revenge plan if there is a significant time gap between them. Baby Pan would make one think that the latter should be AGE 779 (her birth year), but there can be wonky Sayan genes in play and the slight oddity that that Maron still hasn't grown in between the Buu Arc and BOG...well, let's just say I don't really want to make any assumptions.

Also still disappointed that apparently Tagoma's pretty much just there to help gather Dragon Balls and then that's it. What a waste. ...Which one was Tagoma again anyway, the short one or the tall one?

Poor Tagoma I was hoping his character would be explored. Maybe it will, though, even if it is just a little. I like his design, and he looks like he's got a "strong, silent type" kind of vibe to him.

I'm glad that Tagoma was only on the level of Frieza's other henchmen. If they'd somehow made him strong enough for Piccolo or SSJ Gohan to fight I'd have thought that was just bull.

Can't help but wonder what Sorbet will be up to throughout the movie. There's that one shot of him laughing in the trailer... I'm guessing he'll be Freeza's right-hand man or something.

The manga is adapting the movie. Tagoma's death doesn't confirm anything about how much it will cover.

I liked Tagoma's design better also he had a cool pose in the poster....
